im 15 seconds in to this video and i can already tell this video is gonna be good. you deserve way more subs bro. keep up the grind. Edit: i just finished the video and it was great keep up the good work bro.
Honestly man! I clicked off this vid and right as I did. I saw his subcount. No way you only have 845 man, I thought I was watching someone with way more then that. Keep it up!
this is a really good video, I actually thought you’d have a lot more subscribers, you definitely deserve tons. you have really good editing and humor and you could definitely make it as a content creator, keep it up man.
I have over 2k hours in this game and can easily say Tracer is the funnest hero I have ever played and definitely the most interesting and original out of all the characters. She has gone from one of my least played to most played very quickly. I can't get enough of her ! I sadly neglected her when I first started overwatch out of fears that she was too hard, but she's not when you get the hang of it.
I have like 1.5k hrs on ow i main tracer and genji, i started with tracer and then turned to genji, but i keep switching back and forth. I feel like genji is the most fun and then tracer. Tracer helped me reach plat in the start.
Brother biggest game changer I've ever had was binding blink to right click and pulse bomb to shift! Try it out for a few days, this is what 99% top tracers use. Trust me brodda, dis is de way! 😊
i do have it bound to my right mouse button! it's super effective and without it I would 10 times worse. In the video it says "e" but i do use the right mouse button. I got u😎
well this video made me wann a learn tracer and subscribe to you. held me intrested from start to finnish. i didnt want it to finnish it was very good! keep it up!
I've had a similar experience. Fresh to OW2, and really wanting to play Tracer one of the "hardest heroes" to start out with. However my issues were much more aim related, I feel. At least compared to the awkwardness of movement and positioning presented here in this video. Since coming from other movement shooters, getting around the map, effectively using blinks, playing around opponents, and just general survivability were already skills I was pretty fine with at the start. But I was moving my crosshair like my mouse was on ice, moving it around so fast that it seemed like I had ADHD or something, this isn't Quake. over a hundred hours in now, and still trying to improve, but definitely one of the best steps for me was to really slow down and aim. Lowering my sens and learning to become an arm aimer instead of a wrist aimer, while still effectively having it high enough to 180 in a quick swipe. Tracking is difficult in this game, but that's 100% my core focus, improving those skills alone. I agree with the sentiment that Tracer is more aim dependent than game sense. Part of aiming anyway is adjusting to the movement patterns, and predictability of opponents, so it's pretty hard to grind one without the other anyway. Anyway what I'm saying is for me, what helped was stop relying on movement and Tracer's mobility/speed so much, and instead slow down and play more reserved and rigid like in this video. It breeds better aiming habits, so that then overtime you can gradually increase the speed and chaotic way of moving in a way that your aim can keep up
i read all of this and i’m going back to my aim training. i genuinely found more success using my slower sensitivity. i’m much more accurate and i’m hit more of my shots. the movement portion wasn’t that big of an issue to me. i’ll post are tracer part 2 in the future and explain more there 🤝
Your getting my sub if you ever do some montages please add a lil tracer stuff cuz I’m guessing she ain’t ur main but she’s main so I’d love more of her
i play genji and for my rank i would say im pretty good with him but of course i got days i completely flopp with him so watching this got me into playing tracer
Good video man, most of your advice was very true, one thing I would disagree with tho is the aim:knowledge ratio of being 60:40, id say, as someone that has played the game since 2017, that it actually reversed, 40% aim, 60% knowledge, bc in many circumstances, it is immense value to just pull people out or draw attention away from a fight, even if you don’t kill them, wasting their cooldowns is crucial, especially for support heroes, but other than that, everything you stated was very true and you made lots of progress, congrats
realistically tracer is a position based hero like you said so aim isn't everything. Aim is more important for people like solider and ashe. I appreciate your input though its helpful, i plan on doing another tracer video so when that drops lmk what you think.😎
and here a new tracer main born. just do not get salty while you playing her for a while. because you can get pretty salty after a while of just not being able to do shit in high ranks if your aim is sucks.
W vid, unlike your friends i always tell my friends who are new to the game to put all their time into tracer since its consistently picked season after season in gm-t500 almost every game and theres a very good reason for that, shes busted.
Nice video dude. I know it's been 4 months since you uploaded this but if you haven't adjusted how you aim yet Tracer in this game is a hitscan hero. Your crosshair was a nice touch on learning how her effective spread works but the square thing is unnecessary and won't capitalize on her damage output. Just a recommendation
Saying "high ranks" when you're plat is crazy. Good video though, but that part was fucking hilarious icl, you're doing fine tho keep at it and you'll get diamond/masters in no time.
@@xpopheadx Also, I'm not a tracer specialist, but I like playing her in t500 lobbys and such. In lower elo / in general always try to manage your blinks and have 1.5 blinks ready, never expend all of your blinks when you engage, especially if you don't have recall up. Then play around cover a lot, use natural cover to avoid sightlines and flank, also sometimes just blinking straight through the enemy into their backline to touch point to give your team space isn't a bad idea. The best example I could think of is Midtown, on attack if your team is stuck at the choke and getting full held, you can go around the left side into the mega room then just touch point and keep doing it and shooting the enemy in their back, 9 times out of 10 this draws at least 1-2 people and gives your team space to push.
Also idk from the video, but always use right click to blink. It's the fastest input you can use and it gives you a lot more control of where you'll blink.
This is amazing I also play tracer she is fun but I need to work on my aim and with the advice and everything I know how to aim now still need to play with her more but man she is too much fun
I would consider myself a tracer main. I’m not 100% good I still need improving but playing tracer is so much fun,how you can flank the enemy and take down their sniper and support but also how annoying you can be in a 1 vs 1 situation when the enemy cannot hit you because you’re moving so quickly. Tracer is a play style I love

this video been out for 6 months, I have no idea what's your rank right now so it might be a bit late to comment. In higher rank, Tracer is like 75% game sense and 25% aim for me. This is because everyone's aiming skills have become incredibly insane. Without a solid grasp of game-sense or quick reaction times, you'll likely find yourself dead over and over before you even have a chance to secure any kills. It's akin to going up against a top-tier Widowmaker who rarely misses her shots. However, when you're playing as Tracer, it's entirely possible for all 5 members of the opposing team to 1-2 tap you, and they still have their abilities at their disposal.
