- Colombia military parade in 2019 to mark the 209th year of independence. I accelerated the marching pace from 110%-145% to match the 121BPM hell march. There were many units in display, not all contingents were showed in this video because of limited timeline.

My grandfather use to love these parades, he was a WW2 veteran and Korean war veteran. We learned my grandfather was in the Waffen SS when we did Ancestry DNA and we found relatives in Germany. They had all his military service records and uniforms. He was buried in the port City of Barranquila,Colombia which has a German WW2 cemetery from those that passed. The Colombian military buried him with military honors ironically the ceremonial units have Prussian uniforms, he served in the Korean War with the Colombian Army and fought alongside Americans at the Battle of Old Baldy against the Chinese. We are still doing research and plan on having a family reunion with our German family.

What war caused the mines?
@@kimjong-il1547 The conflict in Colombia began on ideological grounds, with disenfranchised rural citizens calling for a transformation to Marxism-Leninism . As the fighting dragged on, however, guerrillas began to lose sight of their political agenda and focus more on profit-driven crime, including cocaine production and illegal gold mining. Landmines began appearing in the early 1990s, largely as a way to protect smuggling routes, jungle camps, and illicit crops. Around 11,500 people in Colombia have been injured or killed by those hidden explosive devices since then-though experts believe many more deaths have gone unreported.
Landmines, in general, come in two forms: ones meant to destroy tanks and other vehicles and ones meant to stop humans. Colombia only has the latter: “It’s really difficult to get a car into the middle of a forest,” says Jairo Alexis Rodriguez, a physicist and director of research at the National University of Colombia.
Even more uniquely, all of the mines left in Colombia today are homemade improvised explosive devices (IEDs) rather than commercially-produced military grade ones. Rebels fashioned them with whatever materials they happened to have on hand, including PVC pipes, plastic bottles, and various chemicals. They purposefully left metal out to prevent the military from identifying them with metal detectors, and the variety of substances they used has also made it more difficult to train sniffer dogs to help with cleanup.

Es una pena que el ejercito Chile en la actualidad sea una basura incompetente comparado con lo que solia ser el el siglo XIX donde era de los mejores de latam. Hoy en dia chile carece de fuerzas especiales decentes y no tiene un servicio de inteligencia. Hasta una vandalos piojosos los someten facil. La doctrina prusiana solo sirve para desfiles, pero es completamente inutil en la guerra moderna.
@@gatoloco1873 man, obviamente la doctrina prusiana no sirve actualmente, es una doctrina del siglo 19... nosotros tenemos la influencia alemana aun vigente, teniendo con ello.. marchas alemanas, uniformes, cascos y el paso del ganso o la clasica marcha de los alemanes...pero aun asi, chile esta sobre todos excepto Brasil... nosotros estamos mas modernizados, tenemos mejores equipos y buenos soldados, lo que pasa es que los de los altos mandos o son unos corruptos o no tienen en cuenta algunas situaciones

@@lilKlo Te equivocas, chile cayo al septimo lugar, segun global firepower, el presupuesto de defensa actual de chile es muy bajo, carecen de fuerzas especiales, no tiennen capacidad de guerra hibrida, ni electronica, ni asimetrica. Lo unico que tienen son tanques leopard,.pero la guerra de armenia demostro.que el.tanque es un arma casi obsoleta que es.presa.facil de armas baratas como los drones. El entrenamiento en chile es.pobre. Todo el escuadron jungla de Chile fue entrenado en Colombia por ejemplo. Y el conflicto en la araucania demostro que carecen de operatividad total. No durarian ni un dia contra un ejercito de verdad
