I have all the films, just finished watching them all again. Loved Alexandra, sad to learn she was gone. She was beautiful,a striking example of a real woman. Died far too soon. R.I.P.
I loved this, growing up in the 60's in the UK. All us school girls wanted to be Sharon McCready. I loved Stuart Damon, he was very handsome. I didn't realise he died not that long ago.
This TV series was so Iconic I was only a child when it first aired However over the last couple of years it has aired again and I love it For many reasons but I still love the 60’s decade today Alexandra Bastedo was so naturally beautiful 🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴
Favourite TV show as a kid, never missed it. Whatched it again when it was rerun a few years ago. Did anyone collect the collectors cards for the series given out with bubble gum packets in the sixties? I managed to get the set (possibly why I had quite a few dentist trips around that time, a lot of sugar in that bubble gum)!
Saya baru lagi nonton film favorit.Udah lama sekali tak nonton film Champions ini karena tetangga yg memiliki Televisi satu-satunya tempat tinggal saya dulu pindah ke Bandung.😢😢😢
I wrote a fan letter to Bill- Richard Barrett and asked him to marry me. He very kindly replied, in green ink, thanking me but saying his girlfriend wouldn’t let him.
Not quite correct to say Tremayne was unaware of his agents powers. In the second series ( that has never been repeated for some reason ) Barrett betrays his colleagues and secretly tells Tremayne of their powers. This is a series/concept that really deserves a serious remake.
I though he would have been a good choice to play Mack Bolan if they ever made a movie. Burt Reynolds supposedly bought the rights to the character, and "Malone" certainly looks like a Bolan storyline, but an actual Bolan movie? I'm still waiting.
I watched reruns; and I thought it was awful. Mostly scenery; and that sort of trickery they used then. Wooden acting; weak storylines. She was only 21 in it but she looked 31.
Alexandra Bastedo was an extra in the Batman film with Christian Bale,( the one where his manor house was burnt down,) she's one of the guests he tells to "sling your hook" to protect the guests.

Very very pretty......
I'd second that, Bartlett - they just don't make 'em like that anymore...
Huge Bartlett.
You sad git!

And you're another sad git!
She aged badly.

Alexandra Bastedo was the most beautiful woman that ever lived!
She was beautiful. Even today i'm watching the champions. Unfortunately the holy men in tibet couldn't prevent her and craig dying. RIP.
Alexandra Bastedo is on the front cover of the Smiths album Rank.
@@degsbabe The thing is durin, it wasn't Real Life, that was just in the series...
@@mikeoglen6848 Mike, the thing is...we dream because of the harsh reaiity's of boring normal life. Try and get an imagination....
@@degsbabe Yes, durin, we can dream, but there is such a thing as Real Life, don't you think?

William Gaunt is 86 today
I always though Stuart Damon would be the perfect Captain Scarlet if a film with real people was made instead of the marionette version.

He looked perfect for 007 (After Sean Connery)!

At least play theme tune, sing the the theme tune......
I’d love to play the theme tunes. However, I would get a copyright strike, so sadly I cannot.

You can always hum the tune.

I can imagine, but I don't let imagination run riot!
I can’t believe there has never been a remake ,maybe that’s a good thing 😂
William Gaunt also died some years back.
He also appeared in Midsomer Murders.
William Gaunt is still alive and professionally active: I saw him portraying Duncan in "Macbeth" about 18 months ago.
David Marsden.
So much for his special powers!
William Gaunt is still alive, aged 85.

You misinformation artist, William Gaunt is alive! But you won't have the guts to come back and tell us you were wrong!
He's still alive he's 85

I'm surprised that Alexandra Bastedo was a Brit. She was so exotic that I assumed that she must've been Italian or Swiss, or something. From Sussex.
