A great performance and well worth the wait! The only hiccups I could see were the result of having to overlay a 21st century technology onto an early 20th century instrument. Your recovery was very professional and the crowd was with you the whole way. I would imagine when that film was first exhibited, the Fotoplayer operator, instead of being plagued with RUclips commercials, had to deal with frequent film breaks common to that old celluloid film stock. Nice selection of music for the various scenes and a great job of adding the sound effects.

A great production Nate, if there were any hiccups the whole crowd was with you all the way. Congratulations on a lovely restored Fotoplayer and your timing in the performance was spot on!

That was AMAZING!!! Can't wait to see more of your work. I've always enjoyed watching Fotoplayers and the amazing people who play them. Looking forward to seeing the details of the sale for the Fotoplayer, I've always wanted to own one of those!

Hi Nate and best wishes from Australia ! I just recently found your channel and also just concluded watching all your videos and especially enjoyed the 'revival' series. It culminated tonight for me watching this amazing performance you gave 'scoring' to the silent short 'One Week'. As a pianist and lover of all things 'pianola' since I was a child, I have to say you were brilliant in your timing, attention to detail and exuberance in putting this together. I for one thought it was superb - ha, I even applauded at the end sitting here on my own! I could go on about all the little details that were highlights for me, but the comment section isn't the place for that, so I'll just say well done and I am loving your channel. Your kind nature and the manner in which you present these videos is thoroughly enjoyable. Pat yourself on the back mate, you deserve it !!

I think that you can be so very proud of the job that you have done with preserving, restoring and saving this very scarce instrument for the future! It could have very easily been trashed as it was in rough condition and incomplete when you got it. It is obviously a real learning curve to learn how to operate one of these instruments AND then to match the music to the film (which would have changed frequently at the time). It is a beautiful and wonderful instrument of which you can be so very proud!
