Thanks Bishop tell the truth!!! Theologian Karl Barth said that Pastors should preach with the Bible in one hand and the news ( current events) in the other hand. All for the purpose of applying truth to peoples lives as it relates to the word and that’s what Bishop is doing. I read an article on Karl Barth that said this is real life application. Bishop is using current events and applying truth to get through to the world so that they may turn and come to the throne of grace. And there may be someone in the industry that may hear the truth, repent and receive Jesus as Lord and savior.

I like & appreciate the Bishops teachings. If he doesn't listen to these artists how is he so up to date with information about lyrics & performances & such? Who is bringing him this information & why? He doesn't have to use pulpit time on these artists. Also if he or anyone brings up an artist as the focal point of a sermon it should be REQUIRED to pray and intercede for them first😮
And you know what he is supposed to be preach on the pulpit GOD gave him and not you, a woman? He does not have to have first hand knowledge of everything that goes on in the world, especially, if it does not attack the church. However, once it gets to him, he is given the information of what was said and what was written about the church. Furthermore, if it goes directly to those in the church who have not been delivered from certain sinful acts and nature's concerning the world, he is bound to speak on it and against those things, less , his own congregation falls prey to these new enticements of the world. He is supposed to warn the people not to fall victim to the tricks of the enemy. So it is absolutely not a waste of time as you claim it happens to be, as if, you know what GOD has assigned him to speak on. The arrogance of some people.

I remember I had a dream a while back when I was in a backslidden state. I was going up these stairs to what I could sense in the spirit to get judged by God. I remember Michael Jackson was on the right side of the stairs at the top and Beyonce and Jay Z were on the left side of the stairs together; and as I was walking up they said, " hey Clara" in a solemn like tone and I got offended because I was like y'all shouldn't know me because I know God and Y'all aren't saved or going to heaven like me, I thought. Well, Michael Jackson died after my dream and the beehive and her husband were next in line. That dream was for me to check my salvation and the spiritual state that I was in as well. God bless. 🙏🏽

I dont understand the hyperfocus on Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and worldly preachers. It feels like gossip disguised as preaching. We already know these people are sinners, just preach the word, the cross and the blood of Jesus. Teach separation from the world and the doctrine of salvation.

Bishop preaches two hours, two times every Sunday plus Bible study and preaching engagements. The Bible teaches you’re suppose to preach about the current events in the world so you the church can have influence on the culture and bring people to Christ.

Why are you listening to Taylor Swift? Because you need the publicity. Preach the word and stay away from secular music. There’s no reason why you should be addressing this young woman.
Taylor can continue to do as she pleases but like everyone else she will learn to have respect for the Lord. Her judgment will be in God's hands. I very much doubt he's worried about her lyrics. I don't listen to her and that's my choice. He spoke what God gave him and thats it.

She's not. However, we have those who in the Body of Christ, who have not yet been delivered from the enticements of the world. So we must warn them and encourage them to stay focused on GOD and be aware of the tricks of the enemy. A lot of people in church are still not delivered from certain sinful nature's and acts that could easily draw them back into the world. So they must be warned.
Based on demographics of the live audience , it is safe to believe less than a third of the audience he is speaking to was deeply affected by the recent Taylor Swift album. This would be especially true for anyone above 35. I’m just saying.

Listen I like that Bishop speaks the truth boldly. But my question is how do you know what these secular artist are singing unless you listening to there music or somebody on your staff in bringing you this music to listen to so you can comment on it from the pulpit.I mean it's like every week I'm seeing you talk about rappers and secular artist from the pulpit. Paul said mind your own business live a quite life.Grandma them told us if it don't have nothing to do with you keep quite.My thing is I don't want myself or my church staff to be listening to these secular songs and bring back to me what Beyonce or these others are saying in there music cause I could care less.I got so many others things to preach from the pulpit to help the saints grow in there discipleship that giving them this garbage from the pulpit about secular artist and what they singing about is useless n worldly to me.Better leave them folks alone and mind your business n preach what the holy ghost is giving you to say cause these millionaires got money to hush you up.
