Christina, I’m a beginner in watercolours too and I have learned that we should spray the watercolours with water ( with something like a plant mister) to activate them. I found it made a difference. So spray and then give them a few minutes to wake up😊. Have fun!
Glad you discovered watercolor.I have been painting for about a year. You Tube is so helpful. Get a spray bottle and spray your paints to get them going. I found that so helpful when I started . Loving your vlogmas,

Hope your back feels better Christina! I have back issues too and finally bought myself a Stressless recliner by Ekornes, made in Finland I think and it’s been a lifesaver. It’s the only spot in my house where I can sit and knit.
Try Voltaren Gel from the pharmacy for your back. I have a slipped disk and it helps so much with the pain. It’s am NSAID, but you can use it multiple times per day if necessary.
I also didn’t like the Bridgerton series on tv, but I loved the books. The tv series deviated so far from the books. I may give it another chance, now that it has been a few years since I read the books. I hope your back feels better soon. Rest is the most important thing for your back. Red Bank Mike is right!
