That’s how you say it fast it’s kinda sounds like “KAME ya ma ya” it’s kinda weird since people actually say the chant the real slow way “KAAAAMEEEEE HAMMMEEEE HAAAAAA” but that’s not the case here we use short term I watched dragon ball fully and even goku says it like him but more originally
It was also usually pronounced as the Kamehameha(Ka-may-uh-may-uh) wave. That's what Roshi said in the original Dragon ball at least. The chant itself is just slow so technically right- xD

I think the weakness the deku smash has to the kamekameha is that it takes a second or two to get to the target while the kamekameha is basically instant. So if the deck is smashes to start like a second early, then maybe it might win
Kamehameha can only shoot in a straight line deku smash you can aim it where ever you want its much more versatile and has a better area of damage
