- In this video I fish the Mitta Mitta River below Lake Dartmouth and above the Mitta township. Later in the video I fish the Snowy Creek above Mitta township on the Omeo Highway. This video doesn't have a lot of "catching action" but it will give the viewer an idea of the beautiful water on offer in these pristine streams.

Great video Ross as always mate
Thanks Michale, I'd forgotten how nice it is to fish those two lovely streams.
Great stuff Ross, I actually got a lot of inspiration from this video. I had forgotten how much I love it up there.
I need to get back. Thank you..
Thanks mate, I've got 8 days work at Mitta between now and mid December, so I think I'll be having a few more trips up there.
good stuff roscoe love the videos
Thanks Darren, they are great streams to fish.
Great video, beautiful looking streams and it’s always worth having a flick regardless of how heavily fished the water is 👍
Absolutely right, mate. It's amazing how many fish can be found in heavily fished areas.
Nice spot .
Good video
Thankyou. Both streams present as nice destinations for trout.
good stuff Mate.
Thankyou, I appreciate the feedback. Are you getting a few yourself, Jack? Cheers.
Keep up the vids mate!! Showcasing an amazing part of Australia 🇦🇺
Thankyou, I'm so lucky to live here. God's own country.
Popped up to this exact spot yesterday such a beautiful part of the country,Mittas running high atm but still a beautiful day despite only one good bite all afternoon but it was the hottest day recorded so water temps were high
It's a great place to be.
only 1 fish but looked like a beautiful afternoon
Yes mate, too nice a day to miss the chance to have a flick in those beautiful streams.
Worked on the dam stayed in Mitta caravan Park and fished down stream from the park catching many browns , saw but did not catch the big ones . The boys caught many in the pools below the wall when the water was shut off and there was a lot of around 1 to 2 kg ..
Last time I fished the Mitta I couldn't keep 2 rods in the water the Carp were that bad and only managed to get 2 very skinny Trout for the weekend
Yes, the carp numbers are significant. Fishing with worms is just about out of the question now.
