- The ANC National Executive Committee meeting is reflecting on the outcomes of the May election which saw the party dip below 50 percent at the polls for the first time in three decades.
The six-day meeting of the ANC's highest decision-making body started yesterday in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg.
The ANC's first deputy Secretary-General Nomvula Mokonyane and the party's head of elections Mdumiseni Ntuli are expected to report back on reflections of the elections and what led to the ANC losing its majority.
