- Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2017 Kia Rio five door hatchback with the 1.4 litre Kappa naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 99hp/100PS paired to a 4-speed automatic.
Below is the list of current Rio five door hatchback variants available in Malaysia as of 6th December 2017. I arranged it from the cheapest to the most expensive.

8:48 the engine sound is great
This was just introduced in the U.S. with a 130-HP 1.6L I4 gas engine... love the looks of it, love it a lot more than the previous-generation Rio. The U.S. version isn't as nice as the rest of the world's version, as there's no GPS navigation, leather seating, or smart key access available. But still a huge improvement over the old model. :)
Ah yes, the new Rio was introduced in the US for the 2018MY, whereas the rest of the world got it for the 2017MY. I somewhat prefer the looks of the previous model just because it looks a tad bit sportier while the new one has more of a sophisticated feel in my opinion.

I prefer the new Myvi in terms of safety features, specs, and pricing, but the new Rio is not a bad car at all.

The All-New 2018 Kia Rio went on sale in July 2017.
Why did they switch the windshield wiper and indicator positions?
The indicator should be on the right, with the windshield wiper being on the left
No one switched the positions? Most Kias in Malaysia have this configuration (indicators/lights on the left, wipers on the right), which to me, is the more convenient way.

It depends on one's own preference to be honest. The Jazz has better interior room and a bigger boot for those looking for practicality, plus the Jazz even has cruise control on the Hybrid and V variants if anyone is looking for cruise control as standard on their cars. However, I feel the Rio looks better and it has better specs for around the same price as the Jazz in E trim.

Would love to, however SEAT is not available in Malaysia. But if I go somewhere where SEAT cars are sold in or if I do go back to the UK, sure.

Well, yes, I do agree that Kyle did start the whole format of reviewing cars this way, of which many people have followed on. I do follow this format as well because I think that there are not many ways that one is able to present to others a complete "video version" of a car's manual as I would like to put it. Many others and I owe it to him for starting this format.
