Nice. Just purchased these yesterday in preparation for a 200k mtb ride. Hope these will make the ride a bit more comfortable by allowing some grip variation.
Helpful review, thanks. It looks like you have the innerbarends fitted inside your controls (brake levers) - so, grips on the outside, then brake levers, then innerbarends. Other similar systems (e.g., TOGS) go between the handgrip and controls/brake levers. Do the innerbarends work better in this position?
I think the innerbar should always be mounted where they perform or suit best. In my particular case I had no choice but to put them inside. As you can see on the following picture, I have a Pinion shifter on the right side, that requires lots of space. Putting the innerbarend between the shifter and the brake, would make the brake levers to far away while riding. images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/57f40033ebbd1ac00412a936/1491602823339-GOWBQN70452VTZJRKSTN/OSPA_Mallorca-201720170407_183317.jpg?format=1500w&content-type=image%2Fjpeg
I constantly try to optimize my setup. As I suffer from numb fingers after multiday events, I changed to Jones H-Bar handlebar, that allows many more hand positions, I no longer require the Innerbarends. Here an impression of the current setup images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/57f40033ebbd1ac00412a936/1591348040640-5CC98IM9UOUEC77OUZSL/ke17ZwdGBToddI8pDm48kDCRAN1qPaDD04RYwCeT_vZ7gQa3H78H3Y0txjaiv_0fDoOvxcdMmMKkDsyUqMSsMWxHk725yiiHCCLfrh8O1z5QPOohDIaIeljMHgDF5CVlOqpeNLcJ80NK65_fV7S1USbr702SzAnHciz8eX1oACUlwcV016EWQAOkUKtjr1-0lZKtLIjH2wwwSeWmNyrTOg/OSPA+ITALY+DIVIDE+Day4-Bologna-to-Verona-dinner-for-one-on-the-road.JPG?format=2500w

@@kramnozual Thanks for the explanation, that makes a lot of sense.
Nice clear review, thanks
Thank you for the review. You seem to have removed them in your later videos - did you not find them useful in a longer term?
