no because the weather is not going to support outdoor farming within 5 years, crop failures are so bad this year, insurance cos are refusing farm insurance in some regions.
I love how some people call everything "fake news", when they have no idea what they are talking about. The company they are talking about, Carbon Robotics, is the one who says they are using A.I. as part of the technology in their laser weeding units. So, NewsNation mentions A.I. because the company says that A.I. is used in their machines.
Artificial intelligence will surely be of enormous benefit to us, as long as we remember to try to think about possible risks in advance and take them into account in all development work.
Yeah, but the problem lies with the AI getting smarter and smarter, to the point where it decides that we're a threat to _its_ existence and backdoors us right off the planet. Arthur C. Clark was a genius, as are most science fiction writers; they all seem more prescient than the average Joe or Jane. His HAL-9000 shows us our future if we keep screwing with this technology. But hey, this world needs an enema anyway, right? 😝
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder but I just wrote that risks (and threats) should be taken into account, so I agree with you. I don't really think people can do it, but you can't help but hope for the best...After all, human being is a rather failed concept that will probably eventually destroy itself in all its stupidity. But yes, artificial intelligence is very useful if we know how to develop and handle it correctly. And this is exactly what worries me. So, on the one hand, I understand the amazing opportunities brought by artificial intelligence, but also the big risks associated with it. PS You don't know me or other writers, so you can't say if someone is average or not 🙂
Love it, Round up has to go.
RFK Jr. has tried to help in that regard.
Trying hard to get your ESG score up with this interview
What a great guy Mr Boyd is! Love listening to him.
Could the product then be labeled “Organic”? Maybe farmers cld make a Lil more ofc their crops?
Great idea, could possibly be used for invasive weed control in the wild also.
What happens when the machine starts weeding out humans?
Wasn't that in the movie runaway
Ha, a Sci fi classic. But I think reducing herbicide use outways the slim chance that this thing is going to start chasing people down the street.
@@raclark2730, once they marry AI with those creepy robots they're making over at General Dynamics it _will_ happen! 😳
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder Nothing a bucket of water or a sledge hammer wont fix. Don't hurt the weeder though its cool.

Send them the migrants from New York. They said they want to work.
Great report
Water.
Does not use any added benefit.
Lets do an interview and talk to someone about nothing. Everything we needed to know was done in the first 2 mins.🤣😎
Awesome machine! Until is crushes your door down and starts lasering you and your family.
Does it kill the nutritional value in the food being farmed?
You’ll find out at a partially televised senate hearing in 5 years
@@Draw4Damegood answer
Why would it do that, its only used on weeds.
I prefer the lasers over all those toxic chemicals they use to kill them anyways :/
@@geelws8880, lasers on the heads of sharks already! 😝
AI will be the next crack cocaine. 😝
I just love how all the fake news calls averything AI now to get attention and clicks. Sick
