I have no idea how geisha did and do it on their wigs/hair and on doll scale it must've been even more difficult. And the kimono! Really great work, especially with the embroidered obi tying it all together

Has anyone thought of doing something like Lavendertowne drawing characters based on their book descriptions I thought someone should do that but with dolls. What I mean is making a doll based on book descriptions for example Lavendertowne drawing Coraline characters based on book descriptions as in what they physically look like. Can you make a creepypasta character as a doll? Can you do a horror movie character?
Honestly I've kinda thought about it but with my kind of autism I find it really hard to picture characters. It's one of the reasons my style leans more realistic. Lavendertowne is actually the reason I started customising in the first place!! Big fan of her channel

I'm going to preface this with the fact that I'm autistic and one of my interests is geiko/maiko, so when I saw this video, I came in with the "oh no, what's going to be wrong with this" curiosity. I am pleased to report the answer is "not all that much". Certainly not much that is easy to address on a doll scale with the wonky MH proportions, lol. She turned out beautiful, not too overdone as I've seen with some western artists. Now I'm off to find the oiran vid, thanks!

I saw another doll artist do this I think. They have a little counter on the top left that changes with every layer of msc.
I think I need to put something on my desk while I'm doing it cause I don't always even know when I'm editing! A counter is a great idea
