When my dad was a kid in the thirties he ran a steam powered thrashing machine in Oxnard California thrashing lima beans he also was a blacksmith when he was a young man and then went into the military to weld on the battleships he was a welder in the Richmond shipyards a good man very hardworking person deserves a pat on his back God bless America

I have pictures of the trash machine which was the steam engine they would pull it with horses to Simi valley California which was 25 mi and then they would start thrashing the beans which is cleaning the fields with the steam engine and it would take 15 minutes to pick up the beans and the machine would separate them it was an awesome process this is when the United States was very strong the men were the best of all time God bless America hope we can go back to them days when they were little kids they did not play f****** video games and watch TV they worked from morning to night they knew no other they built this country called the greatest
