Hi I'm dabbling in making my own gear I'm having problems with skipped stitches and needles breaking. Do you have any advice on set up? Could it be poor quality material I'm using?
Discovered your videos. I am training and bought generic tights and kickpads that I used in my first match. I want something more custom though and I have some sewing and costuming experience but am nervous about trying to make my own stuff. What pointers do you have for someone who wants to try making their own gear?
for lettering, do you ever cut it out of the fabric and sew it on? or fabric glue then sew? i am going to attempt to make my boyfriend some tights for his birthday, but dont have a cricut.
Made my first pair last year after binging a shit ton of videos. Thanks so much dude, huge help!
Awesome man would love to see the work!
Thank God 4 Noah Veil

So i have my first match coming up june 24th. I need tights asap. Can you help? I just need plain black long leg tights. Im gonna do the logo myself.
Do you have any tutorial on how to start making gear to teach someone with no experience prior or a video you learned from of sum sort?
Buy fabric, make a series of horrific mistakes, repeat till you make decent stuff

best advice is to just go for it the more you mess up the more you learn
