I think your reaction to coffee drinking in the video is the first time ever. That’s nice! Communications with the subscribers are always right. Thanx for your video.
Mr. Swedwoods is my favorite RUclips creator. When I watch your videos, I always feel happy and calm. So I like watch your videos. Be careful of your sefety! Thank you.
Nice shout out to Eric 👍and his signature coffee approval. Thanks for another great view of your beautiful forests. Something special about sitting quietly and watching the sunrise. Recharges the soul. Get that same energy from sitting on the beach in a bathing suit and hoody in Baja Mexico and watching the sun set.
Another Erik Normark fan here. I'm often savoring a mug of sacramental Arabica bean when he's preparing one, and recognized and enjoyed your gesture of solidarity! The encroaching years keep my forays outdoors short and restricted to groomed trails, but your (and Erik's) adventures keep my memories alive - for that I thank you both.
Great video! You should do more videos showcasing your gear and how you use it. I’ve been camping for many years and appreciate seeing other peoples techniques as to constantly improve my own
I had to laugh when I saw the thumbs up with the first sip of coffee! Although I watch a few channels, I follow yours and Erik’s religiously. You are the only two channels that I can watch the same video over and over again. Their serenity and beauty bring me peace. Thank you.
@@Swedwoods Hello from USA. Is there a place that NVA Zeltbahn version could be purchased, and do you have a link or info. I have searched but haven't found. Thank you! Live the videos!
I didn't think I would like this video that much given the title, but you proved me wrong again. Your salute to Erik Normark is not only well deserved but shows your good taste. Keep up the good work mate.
Again, my friend, a great video. I know Eric's videos on RUclips and they are spectacular. Peace and calm in both that is what the world needs. Hugs, friend.
Great Demo on all the ways to use cape-poncho. As always wonderful video. I only live this life of outdoors through you. I watch every one of them. Ric's channel brought me here. He is missed but I found another love. Thank you
My favorite Saturday pastime! Thanks for being so good about keeping the series going so regularly. It really gives us something to look forward to every other Saturday! Love the different setups. Got to say, the Chili Con Carne was the strangest version I have ever seen. Looked like Cream of Chili. LOL!
Great sounds and shots of the Swedish wilderness..thumbs up to erik from me as well...yet my personal fav is sweed. Thanks for another great video friend
As always, thank you for all the work you put into these. After a day of "blue light" your stories are a welcome reprieve. I've hiked/camped for 60+ years and still pick up on things I see you do...sometimes as subtle as the turn of wrist or hand in a task. And I agree w/you about Erik's body of work--exceptional ... as is yours! Regards, Doug
You have amazing talent to pack and carry all needed equipment in such a compact unit. This happens everytime and maybe you could give some golden advice towards this productive minimalism for us. Thanks, Janne
i have seen his vids and erik is more of a modern day "backpacker". you, on the other hand, are real mccoy .... a true bushcrafter who keeps the tradition alive. this is what i want to see ! i do hope you don't change your ways ......
one of my favorite things about your videos is that you work so hard to keep from narrating as you work and what not. not that 'i don't want to hear your voice' just that the sounds of nature are themselves so very pleasing. also, when i miss something or i rewind the video to see something again or show the wife, i always talk to you like im there. 'hey wait go back, i wasn't listening' i love it, keep up the great work!!
I always look forward to seeing a new video from you, and I’m never disappointed! Thank you. I too watch and look forward to each of Erik Normarks videos. So different from yours but just as entertaining. He is also a very talented artist. I did smile to see your thumbs up for your coffee and knew who it was for right away, as many others did I’m sure. You two gentlemen are the best. Please keep up the videos. Thank you
You have to be adapted to the cold to endure it with just a sweater. All attention. great videos Many Thanks. I always watch Sunday mornings when everyone is still sleeping. 🤗
How bizarre that is with the ice! _So beautiful_ . Thank you for sharing that almost alien-like-world experience! And how cool (for me, at least) that I was just a few nites ago looking up at the same moon during my own four day winter hike into the N. Cascades! Thank You, Swedwood!

Very nicely done video. I thought the version between 5 and 6 was good. When you made 6 out of 5, you lifted up the left corner. I really liked the version that was then visible. Open on one side so that you can see a lot and closed against the storm so that you are protected.

You and Erik inspired me to take all of my best equipment including my Lavvu all the way from Melbourne Australia to Muddus National Park in Sweden late last year. You're both an inspiration and I cannot thank you enough for giving me a hobby that now takes me around the world... The only other hiking RUclipsr I watch is yet another European, Harmen Hoek, whose dialogue-free videos are cinematic beyond belief, especially his most recent trip to the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan.
Hello, I served two years as an officer candidate in the West German Bundeswehr and knew all the tanks and weapons of the GDR army but none of us knew this poncho/tent combination. Yes! Been waiting for this. As much as i love your usual ASMR style videos, would you consider making a dedicated series on how to videos? That would be awesome. Love your work.
I've wanted an extra large size Polish Lavvu for some time (I'm 6'5") but the import cost is crazy expensive, guess I'll have to keep on wishing. This German version is different for sure, maybe a better tarp/tent but not sure about the poncho set up part. These are some nice set up variations, very usable. What's amazing to me is how you found that flat piece of land😉 Second day was all grandeur, wonderful filming and presentation, well done of course, thanks. Chili con carne..I don't think so, hope you felt okay later.. Enjoy!
