do the same manipulation as on the video but instead of 14 write 15
Follow same instructions. Replace the "14" with "15".
ex.. Instead of typing -> $ sudo /usr/bin/pg_dropcluster --stop 14 main
Type in -> $ sudo /usr/bin/pg_dropcluster --stop 15 main
ex.. Instead of typing -> $ sudo nano /etc/postgresql/14/main/postgresql.conf
Type in -> $ sudo nano /etc/postgresql/15/main/postgresql.conf
Get The Idea??

great video but last step you must go to /etc/postgresql/postgresql.conf and change port number

Edit: I was able to solve my issue by simply uninstalling openVAS from Kali Linux and then reinstalling it and after successfully doing so rebooted my Kali Linux and voila it worked(for now)
@@hardekskapil me too got this mistake, dont do anything, you should wait for ur feed status (nvt scap..) will be current. In my way when i start scanning i have this mistake but my nvts and so on were already updated, and then i again check status and they were updating again, i do this step like 2 times, then restore page and when all will be current u can scan

upgrade your system it will solve your problem
1. Run this command...
$ ls /etc/postgresql
You will see the Directory names of the versions of Postgresql returned under the command....
ex..
$ ls /etc/postgreqsl
15 16
You want to use the Last Version Number or Highest Number listed in this case is "16".
2a. Now Run this command...
$ sudo nano /etc/postgresql/16/main/postgresql.conf
The Nano Editor will open the postgresql.conf file for editing. Scroll about a half page down to find "CONNECTIONS AND AUTHENTICATION" then find the "port" variable which should = 5433. This is the problem!!! Simply change this post # from 5433 to 5432. Then same file with new port number and restart the Postgresql service.
2b. To save the file in "nano" text editor press "Ctrl-o".
You will see the file name listed on the bottom menu..
"File name to write: /etc/postgresql/16/main/postgresql.conf"
2c. You will then need to press the "Enter" key. This will now save the changes to the file. You will see something like..
"[ Wrote 822 Lines ]"
2d. Now press "Ctrl-x" to exit the Nano text editor.
3. Run this command to restart the postgresql service...
$ sudo systemctl restart postgresql
4. Run gvm-setup to continue. Both Errors should no longer be an issue. Process from hear takes about an hour..
Run this command...
$ sudo gvm-setup
