I don’t understand why you don’t start at the home of the fish, then work your way up. My home lake is 170ft at the dam. Seems like I should start at the dam and just farm the breaks all the way to the swallows.

In his sanctuary in deep water, the fish is more dormant less active. The key is where is he going to move to first to migrate to the shallows..the structure has to lead from the deep water to the shallows to be productive.
