@@hansalanson3497 well blood and wine is apart of the game still.. and just like you said that dlc opens up the work even more and adds more creatures and the main game still has alot creature designs and cool looking monster you have to find some of the more unique ones and the reason it's so many creature tho is because it's supposed to feel like an living and breathing eco system of monsters which in itself is still a coo concept they even have werewolves and vampires overall I think it's enough variety and ai was okay to me
@@traditionalartist7184 Pure bullshit. Blood and Wine is the closing chapter of the game, ranging from level 39-49. That's like the last 20% of the entire game, and it only feels like an RPG game at THAT point where there are decent ability modifiers that are actually detrimental to how you fight certain enemies. The first 35 levels of the game felt like it's overcompensating for poor scaling with numerous gimmicks that doesn't really add anything. Geralt keeps gaining new powers and better equipment while the monsters only get increased health point and damage that are easily nullified by stronger armor and swords which players inevitably gets. A level 7 werewolf and a level 33 Ulfhendin fights the exact same way and can fall to the same exact strategy. That's not a sign of good enemy design. A living ecosystem? All I see are monsters on scripted locations. They don't do turf wars, mark their territories or actively hunt down Geralt. Even if there are, it's scripted event with no element of randomness to it. There's like a walk-through for every location and quest involving these monsters and most of them are pretty intuitive. As for the variety, that's exactly my point, these "uniqueness" are skin-deep. Katakan and Werewolves share the same skeleton model in-game and even most of their attacks are identical or can be avoided the same way regardless. The only difference being Katakan can turn invisible and Werewolves can regenerate health rapidly and both powers aren't even challenging to deal with. Don't even bring up that lazy Oil mechanic. Having unique visual design doesn't make a good enemy or good combat system. Heck, one Uruk general to another can be more different than a Gargoyle is to a Sylvan in the Witcher. If it's not bad enough, The Witcher 3 has to put advanced techniques like sweep Aard, Whirl and Rend behind strict leveling system. They have to cut half of Geralt's moveset and put them behind limited leveling slots to prevent him being too OP because the monsters in this game don't fight back hard lol. As a result, most fights in the game feel terribly monotonous because you can only use "that" light sword attack or only use the normal form of Igni. They should have allowed all moveset to be unlocked outside leveling and allow players to use skills points to actually add upgrades to them and make the enemies tougher to compensate, so the battle can become as cinematic as the promotions.

Well, WB games kinda own him I think, so it's more sensible than to add some movie character that costs extra. Just imagine the entry dialogue with others Sindel: Serve me willingly, or die. Talion: I'd rather die. If I can. If you CAN make me! Sindel: It seems you always need others to decide your fate, Talion. Or Talion: Holding dominion through terror and bloodshed will not get one far. Shao-Khan:... says the Lord of Minas Morgul. Talion: Mordor... Works differently.
Even though he executes alot of enemies, I found it weird that whenever he gets "executed" when losing some fights he never gets beheaded for executions that behead uruks otherwise. Like WB or Monolith don't want to see their character really dismembered that's why I don't think we'll ever see him in a mk game.
@@Flokoli1 Or there can be workarounds if Monolith didn't really want to have Talion gutted to mince meats. Instead of flesh and viscera, his dismembered body parts only reveal ghostly substance with no actual innards. This can actually makes sense since Talion is basically "reconstituted" everytime he resurrects.
@@Flokoli1 Middle-Earth may not be canon and not lore-wise, but it's still a placemat between the Hobbit and LOTR. They'd have to ask permission first to the guys who own Tolkien's legendarium to see if Talion can stack up in MK11, but they decided against it due to other plans. And cutting people's head off counts little when the MK cast can mutilate, rip out bodies in half or even reduce their opponents to bloody chunks.
Some of my personal favorites are; 5:31Falling/getting pulled onto the sword. 6:38 The sheer awkwardness of that death pose. 8:40 The Olog neck stab. 10:49 Because he has to shake the head off. It's a shame this only shows executions and stealth kills because there's a really nice instant counter kill neck stab that makes a nice long ringing sound.
I'm not gonna lie, you probably have to be a little messed up to design these. I can imagine someone sitting in a room thinking "hmm, what would be the quickest, cleanest, and most creative way to dismember and decapitate an orc mid-combat?" To those people who made these, thank you.
Creativity and "Messed up" are two terms that are constantly flirting with each other. Not necessarily "Messed up" in the fucked up way, but generally in the "thinking outside the box" way
The most brutal one that I've had is I stabbed the orc in the back, it fell to it's knees and I just slowly slit it's throat. I don't know if it's rare because I didn't see it on the video 🤷🏼♂️
I noticed that when Talion gets the nazgul ring his executions become a little bit more brutal. Maybe 3 or 4 new finishing moves are added when Celebrimbor and Eltariel abandon him. Like the one, where he cuts off an uruk's both legs and decapitates him.
The one where Talion rolls over the fallen orc into a decapitation always looked so cool and was so damn useful in SoM repositioning with the double charge perk, I hope It remains so in SoW

8:13 that is 3 dodges into 3 counter-attacks, in secession. 2 were tendon slices to the right leg, bringing it to its knees. There was a very brief stop that kept it from being one single motion. Fuckin' beautiful. What kind of martial artist(s) did the advising or motion capture for them?

Bro, I made him run in fear, terrified before. I brutally executed(double might bar filled) two captains in front of him and he just decided he wanted absolutely no parts in that and just started booking it. I've literally never saw him run from any fight before and he isn't scared of literally anything in his weaknesses.
So many awesome finishers in this game. I love a lot of the Orc vs Orc, Orc vs Olog executions as well. The duel weapon orcs probably have the coolest looking overall.
You need to do the Shadow Strikes, Baranor and Eltariel executions too! Don't forget the Orc Finishers on each other or Talion (especially the Tribe ones).

My favorite executions are the hella unnecessary finishers. Like slicing off limbs, then repeatedly slashing the head off; or where he slices the guy's back, stabs the head and tears it off. Like damn that's Guts level pissed off
In many executions - yeah, they are. But do remember some of them are meant to be terrifying to enemies. And watching someone slicing your allies or friends to pieces without shard of a fucking second rest is hella scary. Game can't show this realistically. But level of gore, guts and all insides falling from killed. Jesus it's both disgusting and scary for your enemies 😓
