    👏 Nice video and good job for recommending the mini UPSs with the larger batteries. We have been finding the 8000mAh mini UPSs start failing quite quickly (as soon as 6 months) when Loadshedding is Stage 4 and above (as it has been a lot lately)

    Great video! Did you perhaps do a test with the ZTE 5G router?

    There is a massive gap in the market for products like this... If you are producing these kinds of products it must be like Christmas right now! Good review !!!

    I wanted to know about the POE ports. I have same mini UPS with 9/12 volt output and 15/24 volt POE (They get sold in different name brands but use same 8800 mah capacity). I wanted to know if I can use the POE port to power a mini PC or a mini ITX build since it outputs 19 watts power. I'd need a ethernet to 12 volt DC adapter.

    • @WeDoTech
      @WeDoTech  Год назад +1

      Not sure about the POE, but if you have an adaptor is should possibly work.
      For a mini PC you would need to make sure about the power needed and delivery. I was bake to power my 12v windows tablet but didnt go higher than that. Also the connection needs to be looked at to see if its the same.

    What is the difference between Titan electron and the lava fusion model they look identical.

    The towers do run out of juice and so do mobile providers. However, it could be a contractual agreement. Sometimes fibre, mobile and other networks drop power during loadshedding simply because you don't have the option. Always-on-option costs more. This is also dependent on the area you are in. It is advisable to contact your provider to find out.

    Hi there. I am interested in buying the Titan NPS. My setup is fibre (6W) and 2 wifi routers (12W + 5,4W). Will the Titan setup be sufficient for 4,5hr of loadshedding with the watt usage from the 3 devices? I was also looking into the Gizzu products, which also has great reviews but I don't think you have done a review for them?
    The Titan is 24 000mah for R 1799 while the Gizzu is 21 600mah for R 1649 (current prices) - would the Titan be a better choice here?

      Hey there - I recently purchased the TITAN Elecstor 24000mah unit and I use it to run my Fibre, Wifi router and one Mesh unit and it stays afloat without a single hiccup during shedding. The longest period I've been load shed since is 4 hours and the unit only lost one out of 4 battery bars during that session - I think you can confidently purchase the Titan for your use case. I am very happy.

      @@martinpieterse9359 Thanks for the response. I think the Titan NPS will definitely be enough. Also 2nd question, I have a D-Link Wireless Access Point Router that uses 6W. I need to put this on a UPS as well. Would you recommend the Titan Eco (18W 12000mah) or the Titan Eco-Pro (30W 10 000mah)? The price difference is only R 90 with Eco being more expensive

    • @WeDoTech
      @WeDoTech  2 года назад +2

      They are so similar in how long they last. The Pro will just be able to supply more power (30w vs 18w) if you want to use it for something else that needs it down the line.

      @@AxomeV10 I agree - I'd go 30W 10 000mah, that additional 2 000 mah will be 'meh' but the higher load spec will probably come in handy later.

    I just bought the 24000 mAh version from Takealot. It looks exactly like this unit. The only thing is, mine is called LAVA Fusion - Model is also Elecsor - NPS. I wonder if TITAN has now become LAVA because they are literally exactly the same.
