He used the words “ I have been alone since I was 15.” In an interview he explained he has been a travelling entertainer (singer) for years… I hope he has found his final destination as a professional singer by now (or rather: many years ago)… 😊

I believe every word he said, he’s in so much pain, I don’t know why we have to go with all these pain on our life but each time I listen to him he’s give me lots of hope, its never to late to fallow our dreams . He make so easy. You know what? Believe at you self and don’t make no one put you self down, Look at him, he’s life changed for ever in one second . Thirteen to fifteen-hour flight from Jamaica, seventeen hours waiting to audition, last one to audition and he still sounded amazing. This was his time. For seven years he prepared (over 3 years entertaining on ships) and now here he is. He said he entertained from 2 to about 20 people each performance on the ships. How many are seated before him now? Plus, he has Simon and Louis focused on him - a deer caught in the headlights. Then to be appreciated/applauded with a standing ovation by these hundreds of people after being rejected/suppressed by his own in the entertainment industry. If only he knew how additive his voice was and is.... I can't stop listening to him.

Why am I crying? I cried everytime I watched Dalton's audition..my tears flowing when I saw him crying..and at the end of the audition he went backstage and he was all alone....luckily the presenter was there to hug him..I wished I was there to hug him and I know that he was overwhelmed with sadness....😍💝
Not sadness...just the realization that your dream; something that you have envisioned and worked towards all your life, is in arms' length!
He said is life is/was not a sad story, it was just the way it was! I am from his area, that is exactly how I look at life - "it was just the way it was, a way of life" and it made us so strong and determined to get out and have a better life!

finally, someone id be rooting for! this man just made me cry. what a great voice!!!!!
There are many persons who have remained very supportive of him, whether he admits to it or not! Some of us knew him when he was a student at a rural secondary school!
Perhaps one day he will tell his story in full! I did not know of him until he was a student at the Edwin Allen High School. He had strong support from many staff members!
I will continue to take an interest in his progress, as long as there is a family member with whom I have contact! His youngest brother, for instance!
OMG, seriously, where have you been all this time, dude, you have an amazing voice, your humility is mind-blowing, you embrase life, even when live hasn't been kind on you and your family, a person who is able to show his emotions like you did on that stage deserves to be a star, i stil have the goosebumps, i will follow you cause you are a TRUE ARTIST, we need people like you, people who know what it is to fight every single day but still are able to make us dream and forget all are problems by just listing to the heavenly voice.

I really love this young from my country Jamaica. When I first heard him on the rising stars show, he blow me away with his melodious voice, He can definitely sing and I know will be proving himself performances after permanences on this show. #TeamJamaica all the way!
I love it when a contestant sings the first word or two and Simon’s head pops up, eyes wide open and his mouth forms the letter ‘O’! You know it takes someone special to get that response from him. Even Robbie shifted in his seat. This guy is truly special. I hope only good things happen to him (whether from this show or other places). Every once in awhile, someone yanks on your heartstrings. This guy did that to me. (As I mop my face off and blow my nose.)

@@mandyshowell5245 if only Dalton knew what that audition does to me everytime I watched it..when I saw him cry, tears welled up in my eyes..and it is from that moment when he did this song that I fell totally in love with him..I just cant help myself..maybe it's the motherly love steps in as I have 3 grown adult children ages..32, 28 and 26..that's the reason I cant understand how a mother not love their children..I am in Jamaica and I know of a few cases where mothers hate their children.

Bevena Williams I totally agree with you , I’m in England and have 2 grown up girls 28 and 29 and 3 grandchildren. I love them with all my heart and could never hurt a hair on the heads . I just can’t imagine a mother not loving her child and putting him out on the road ! We have cruelty here too all countries do and I breaks my heart to hear those stories .
Like you when I saw that audition, on tv I just wanted to go down there and get him and bring him home to a happy place. There was a young girl in the audience that said there’s a lot of love in the room I hope he feels it . I was praying that he could .

I love the way he says and repeats it's not a sad story. I love it because he doesn't feel pitiful about himself like most people do with their "difficult" circumstances. "It's not a sad story" people are few and are the ones who have suffer the most.

I saw this young man perform on a Carnival cruise and I fell in love with his voice right then and there. I was the only one rooting for him up until mid night listening to his God given soothing voice. I knew he’d become an artist one day, God knows I’ve been a fan ever since the beginning and hope you he pursues his career!

Read the diamond journey. It is forged in fire,darkness,pressure,solitude,turbulence but when it reaches maturity not many people can obtain one.
