This is what ambient music is supposed to be. This achieves the goal of taking you on a journey. I have listened to this track a number of times while working. I was turned onto trance back in 1999 when I first got into IT. Still in IT 25 years later, but discovering ambient music a few years back has changed the way I think at work. Ambient music is calm, enveloping, and thought provoking. This is a perfect example of an ambient soundtrack that instantly summons a roll call of ideas, allowing your creativity to flow.
A lot of ambient music I find on my feed sound super depressing n kinda makes me sleepy if I'm working late. Great for people looking for that, but I don't necessarily think it's ambient. This track on the other hand makes me feel inspired and productive - like I'm looking for something or exploring a new world despite being stuck behind a computer lol. Make more of this. So far the algorithm hasn't found me anything similar and I find myself coming back to this video to wake me up - it's ambient done right. A lot of other composers are mistaking ambient for depressing and it's just not doing it for me. Kudos to the composer
There is the feeling of dislocation that comes with being in a new, strange place. But it's not the loneliness of loss. He knows he will drown in the sadness and the emptiness of trying to regain what has been lost forever. He makes the choice to leave the longing for the familiar behind and opens himself to the unfamiliar, to the newness and strangeness. His senses come alive as he takes in sights and sounds and smells, the spirit of his new home planet. "There is a soul in this place," he says to himself, "and I can get to know it. My loneliness opens my heart lets this new place in. I can live a good life here."
This is the exact perfect track for writing fantasy. Keep coming back to it. Far and away your best, it's so unique, this intense sense of motion and progress, epic, but relaxing.
I hear the tweeting, the chirping of the birds when dawn is about to break. I vehemently hate the sound that it makes. They break the blissful silence of the night. A stark reminder of the shining day to arise When the souls that sleep would in some time be awake. When my peace, my freedom of the night would sleep again.
Loving the emotion here, Brett... feeling a touch of Last Samurai (phenomenal movie) vibes in this one! Great stuff! Would love to hear more about how the Outlands receives our downcast hero into its brutal embrace. Perhaps he will find some redemption in the forbidden territories to atone for the home he failed to protect.

Ive triedany types of meditation music to feel peace and this is far out the best one there is in my humble opinion keep doing what you doing guys
