My dear brother, who knows the Everly Brothers were my favorite artists until Otis Redding came along, just turned me on to Malo. We were also big Roy Orbison fans, and Malo was clearly influenced by him. This is lovely. How many of you who loved the Everly Brothers are singing along, doing Phil's descant harmony while Raul does Don's melody?
Really feel for you, my son went through years of heart operations, he is 27 now, still visits hospital and has an operation every 10 years, just love him and never lose hope.
WOW, Raul was Fabulous!! He started off the first set with beautiful slow classics, then after a 20 miniute intermission, went into the up-tempo songs. His voice is beyond compare, when he sang"Around the World",I cried. After the concert we got to meet him !!!!! He was so friendly and kind. I'll never forget that night.
Same in San Francisco. It was one of the most fun concerts I have been too and I have been to hundreds. He was so funny. After he stood out front and talked to everyone one on one
First time i heard the Mavericks was 2015. Since then have seen them perform 3 times at Thalia Hall in Chicago and twice saw Raul solo show in Evanston. I intend to see them every chance i get. Cannot express how magnificent they are live on stage....

After a few years not singing I am so inspired by this mans voice besides using this video for my harmony I am just at peace now......honestly just perfect. To take a song that is sang in harmony and do it solo he is just a master of voice. I am awestruck........

Got to talk with him after a Mavericks concert last week at the Minn. Zoo. After a great show, he took the time to stay and mingle with his many fans.
