FYI, that bird scene was a good use of the SSD. The bird flew far away and was able to view a settlement in such detail,, then the game was able to switch back to the player very quickly.

I guess Ubisoft thought 1440p @ 30fps was the better call, personally I think 1080p 60fps is the better choice, framerate seems like the bigger visual differator between next gen and last.
How do you know its 1440 p? Was it confirmed ?
@@elmehdizine7022 I believe it does do 1440p. Microsoft said that the series s has the power to do native 1440p 60fps if the developers optimize it really well. Like gears 5 and forza horizon do 1440p 60fps but thats because Microsoft optimized it. Watch dogs legion does 1080p 30fps with ray tracing on for the series s

Once again, a developer decides resolution is more important than frame rate
I Really hope they add the option to invert that like other devs do.

There is zero way the Series S can't lock 60fps at 1440p in this game. Why on earth did they decide to do this at dynamic 4k is beyond me.
It's actually dynamic 1620p, commonly 1440p and sometimes lower. I can't speculate why they couldn't or didn't do 1080p at 60fps, but that frame rate at a higher res is a pipe dream.
People are complaining that it isn't 60fps but that isn't on Microsoft. Ubisoft decided to put resolution above frame rate. They could've easily did 1080p 60fps. Also, for people thinking the Series S can't do that, check out Ori and Will of the Wisp. It runs 4K 120fps, I know, I've checked it out.
