- We recently got a new puppy and I have been spending SO much time with her! Here is what a 24 hours with my puppy Amaya looks like!

Just so you know I’m in a vet group I’m in the vets actually don’t recommend bully sticks because they can get sharp and end up hurting the dog as well as the fact that they don’t digest well and can cause blockages. Amaya is adorable though and you’re definitely glowing!
Yeah we used to give my dog bully sticks and she ended up in the ER because she swallowed the small end portion of it. Nothing was damaged internally thank god but it was scary when she started acting off. Now we just stick to the greenies so I definitely agree with you on this!
Dog groomer here! I LOVE how you are training her for grooming! Something else you can do is grab on her feet / ears / face to get her used to being grabbed there. Also electric toothbrushes sound very similar to clippers! Turning one on around her while giving her treats is great! After she’s used to it being around her you can start “petting” her with it while giving treats. :)
With the pooping I recommend cleaning the spots really well when she goes off of the grass patch that way her scent isn’t there anymore, also I know when we had dogs inside if they could smell like too much of their urine they would go off the pad for a cleaner spot. You could also teach her like cats and just keep setting her on the grass patch until she poos

Amaya is so cute!!! I actually cried while watching this video. Amaya looks so much like my dog that passed away a year ago, her name was Millie. The only difference is that Amaya has straight hair but my dog had curly hair because she was a yorkie poodle. But Amaya is so adorable and I love her name it’s so unique! I can’t wait to see more of Amaya!

As a dog groomer, i am so excited to see you desensitizing her to grooming tools , noises & grooming in general!

I love the fact that you're desensitising her to some grooming tools, this would come in handy when she needs to see a groomer! It makes their lives so much easier having a dog used to all of the equipment! :)

Puppy's are work but long lasting results pay off later. Great job on getting her on a routine and exercise and sunshine and outdoor s . Plus her sleepy time as puppy's sleep time help them grow with nurishment . She will obviously make a good pet. As other cat watches on. I saw that cat watching in background. Funny!

Amaya looks so much like my dog willow! We never knew what type of dog she was (shes a rescue) we just know she is a poodle mix and maybe has some Portuguese water dog in her cause she has a white patch on her chest.

Something that is more difficult for dogs at the groomer is the electric clippers so if you desensitize her to the vibrations it will keep her calmer during hair cuts. Hope this helps :)

Yeah the pooping was hard for me too but I just had to keep putting mine back on everytime she got off and when she would poop and pee where I wanted her to I would reward with a treat
