If you want to use filter then sure you can. My outdoor set.up doesnt have any kind of filtration system. Just natural water change. In some cold areas yeah you may need a heater.
Hello you need to have a pair male and female to breed guppy fish. Make sure to provide them either a fishtank or fishtubs where they xan breed. Goodluck
It is generally recommended to house 2 females per male. Some males can be relentless in their pursuits of females, and can stress them out to the point of death if she is being "ganged up on". 3 females per male is even better!
