You seem genuine. I appreciate that.
It took me 31 years to figure out that I don't just feel but take on others emotions. I knew I could feel their sadness or joy. Yet I didn't realize anger impacts me the most. I've probably spent more days than not letting myself be overcome with others that I can't function. I don't know what I am feeling myself. I'm not sure if I make sense but I hope you understand.
If I notice I'm doing it I will say to myself," that's how they feel. You can be ok when someone else is not." Sounds a little insane but it helps.

Thank you for your comment! We’re you ever cAlled sensitive as a kid? I think people like us are prone to abuse and mistreatment at work and in life In general. Yes your comment makes 100% sense/ I’m so happy you can tell yourself “I can be ok when others are not”

I didnt know that others couldnt feel the emotions or energy like i can. Very hard when young to know whos emotions are whos. Also not knowing how not to absorb the emotion yourself. Its hard to get rid of. Called highly strung. Yes very abused and have no close friends. Controlled and learning about it can become valuable. Mental health should be a very high priority. Learn how to cleanse and rest. It sure can save your life too. Ive learnt it is best to talk tell speak to someone dont hold secrets they can destroy you. Breathwork boundary work and learning continuously helps. It can be fun you can help people because you know the emotion they are feeling. Already. It also keeps me safe.

@@angelanelson1274but did you know you were absorbing their emotions? I talk to my mom about it and she says it’s good to not absorb their emotions but I don’t think it’s that simple. It’s a conscious effort and when you’re young it’s hard. I think when you get older you become more grounded. It makes sense. God bless you❤

I am lot like you, I get drained very quickly as if I am feeling other people's emotions or worries / stress etc. Being an empath is both good and bad (I personally feel). I feel it allows you to get more in touch with how someone you're talking to, or when someone is venting to you, with their emotions rather than just listening to their words. Does that make sense? I mean like listening to words is one thing but actually going deeper and putting yourself in their shoes with their story and feeling what they feel is just different, but it is very draining and it's especially draining when giving so much to people who use, abuse and take for granted of an empath.
I loved your advice "Just focus on yourself." I'm trying harder and harder these days to do this. But almost always easily feel bad for those and want to help those even after they hurt me.
I liked listening to you speak. Wise words!

Thanks for your comments. Very appreciated. Reading self improvement books and learning more about communication has helped me with my confidence. At a certain point I learned to love myself and not care what people think of me. A lot of being an empath comes with people pleasing
