Was so great to *finally* see LEÆTHER STRIP perform live in the states when you came to San Francisco back in 2014 I think it was. Your band was a huge influence for my own project - monstrum sepsis back in the 90s!
Oh man, how come I found out this little nugget only now? Jesus, Claus Larsen was so young and already had an LP and 3 EP released on Zoth Ommog. Amazing creative soul. Thanks for sharing…
A nice piece of evidence that Mr.Larsen always had that signature voice. They sure are giving him the time after just smashing it on stage - what a bomber!
Took me 30 years to find out who this was! I first heard this at the end of a mix tape on a college radio station in Chicago around mid 90s I wanna say b4 95, thanks again youtube!
"They did the wrong way! They did the wrong way! They did the wrong way! They did the wrong way! They did the wrong way! They did the wrong way! They did the wrong way!"
You won't get out of this alive! You won't get out of this alive! You won't get out of this alive! You won't get out of this alive! You won't get out of this alive!
Super fedt!! Det er sjovt at man som dansker skal til Mexico for at hører om jer/dig? 🤭 Men ja, Danskere er stafig ret konservative når det kommer til musik... For meget Rasmus Seebach og Medina til min smag.. 🙏🏻
The version of the song dubbed over this live performance is "Crash Flight 232 (Original Version)", from the album "Double or Nothing". It's a lot higher quality than in this video. Awesome old footage though!
@@TheVisceroid It is actually playback. Jesper told me that they drank a lot before going on stage and were actually quite drunk :) It was from a little local tv station and lots of unknown bands from Aalborg played there that night and playback was pretty common. We had good laughs about Claus almost tripping and lost track of his lip sync.
would someone be so kind to put subtitles on the interview?
I have added subtitles in English but bare with me as this is my first try ever making subtitles :)
That was amazing dude, thanks a lot and cheers from Mexico!
God to be 20 again
@diakonradish Yeah :) and what moves I did back then . Groovey!

Omg he's so young. Awesome blast from the past.
And so thin. ;)
This is awesome, almost avant garde for 1990.
Love it !!!!!!
Uncle Claus!!!❤❤❤
He is and always will be HOT a.f.!
Knowing the giant lovable bear clause has become in his age its funny to look back and enjoy the skinny little punk in bicycle shorts he was lol!
both a great musician and a great person
Nice spandex and performance! 1990 was soo cool!
Masterpiece
Fantastic!!!
Gran Banda!!! Buenos recuerdos.........
Those were the times! :D
Reminds me of a young Bill Leeb.
Loved you then and still love you...
At least I don't feel bad for wearing bike shorts back then anyway. Man, i miss those times.
Great job

EL Master!!!
YASS
I think his movements onstage were.... kinda dorky. But his vocals were on point. Love this band.
He's obviously lip syncing. Watch when he trips on the drum riser.
He is gay
wow this VCR or video tape has alot of tracking issues
very cool, the singer look like a character from beavis and butthead XD
Super cool, but yeah, we thought Leaether Strip was a bit of a skinny puppy/ frontline assembly clone at the time.
Super fedt!!

💗Yes💗......!!!
That's weird. When he tripped on the drum riser, he stopped moving his lips, yet his vocals continued.....

But the synthesizers somehow magically playing with no power cord or cables wasn't weird?
Youth.

wow , skinny Lars
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jajajaja bien joven, con 50 kilos menos!!! Pero bien chingon!!!
Can anyone tell me what kind of music this is called?
In the 90's this was called Dark Electro.
Lastima que se ve muy mal

Tracking
Pardon, *Claus*!

skinny Lars
Was this before he was a homosexual?
Idk 🤔🤔🤔🤔
