I’ve been using this Steelseries Tusq for FPS games like Call of duty warzone. It’s very light and comfortable since it’s an earphone. All my headphones are put into display like the Arctis 5.😂
I just bought this last week due to this video. I mainly use this playing Monster Hunter Rise, I'm on PS4 Pro, he's on PS5. According to my friend, it sounded ok, sounded clear. What I was worried about was the electric fan noise beside me but he said, it was fine at his end...
i bought these a while back and when i plug the mic into go xlr i get a high-pitched tone? is there any videos showing or explaining what you need to get these working in go xlr
It is a cardioid mic, so there is a bit of rejection on the backside of the might. I didn't test it in a noisy environment, but most likely it will pickup a fair amount of background noise
I have the nintendo switch earbuds and was looking for a slightly better mic quality. Actually, I am using them on my job because I hate to wear over or on ears everyday from 9 to 5. Though, the SteelSeries Tusq aren't too bad, I'll keep mine for now
I’m taking HyperX back because the weirdly shaped ear bud design doesn’t sit in my ear. I had battle buds before which lasted 1 year before the left ear stopped working. So hoping these are better. Only £25 on Amazon at the moment
On PS5, the microphone sounds average, like any other in-ear headset with an integrated microphone. Always a bit muffled. I also tried it with a friend, letting him hear my voice with the boom microphone and the integrated one-very little difference, and actually, the integrated one sounded slightly better. Can anyone confirm? Apparently, it's only that good on PC...
Which one is best for fps games the IEM or the earbuds? Please recommend something. Some says hyper x earbuds and some moondrop chu 2 or kz zs10 pro x. Help me pls guysm
They’re fine, I just think the bass is a little too boomy IMO. To use it on the iPad, you’ll need a USB c to aux adapter. You can find them pretty cheap

So you're liking them? I couldn't find a good comfort spot with mine. But my ears are weird when it comes to earbuds!
I need iracing earphones that have a decent mic are these good?
I get super hot with gaming headphones.
I'm sold, it's good enough mic quality and detechable too! Great for my laptop/mobile setup
Might wanna check in the JBL Quantum 50’s as well. Great mic, but the earbuds have much better sound quality!
@@BaxTechYT Hmm, perhaps the sound quality improves after some EQ? Definitely considering the JBLs as they're a dedicated audio brand
Possibly, but the driver size would be hard to greatly adjust with EQ
@@BaxTechYT so if mic , audio and confort is the main thing, JBL would still fare better than Steelseries Tusq, despite it having a boom mic?
Does SteelSeries Tusq has better noise cancelling mic than Turtle Beach Battle Buds In-Ear Gaming Headset?
Maybe a bit specific, but does somebody know if these buds cause echoing issues in Playstation parties?
I wish I could help you there. I can at least confirm this is not an issue on Xbox or PC!

high-quality review, good work
Thank you so much!
Can you say something about their passive noise reduction? I work in a noisy environment and it's important for me.

Hello, have you tried this ? I'm in the same situation as you, and I'm currently looking for a wired earbuds
Steelseries tusq vs turtle beach battle bugs, Which one is better for you????
That’s a tough one, I don’t really like either lol. I would honestly pick the Battlebuds just because they have the better mix
Mic **
Thanks for posting! My old gaming earbuds broke and I’m struggling to find one with a decent mic
No problem! I have a few other earbud videos on the channel if you wanna check them out!

Is the steelseries tusq mic good for zoom calls or meetings? I am interested in buying it for my mobile workstation
@@ekoydakoykoy I didn't test them, but the video does. Imo the quaility is mid range. Nintendo switch earbuds mic sounds better imo
Nice vid dude, just got the hyperx cloud earbuds and like you said they are so comfortable
Heck yeah! Those are still some of my favorite earbuds!

How did you make it work with your GoXLR?
You deserve more subscriber dude!
Thank you so much!! Finally passed 1k!
How do these compare to turtle beach battle buds?
Honestly comfort and audio I think are WAY better on these! But you can find the battlebuds for super cheap now
AFAIK this is the only Over-Ear Gaming IEM in the market, the rest of the Over-Ears are non-Gaming labeled...
From what I've found, you're right! I wish they would've upped the build quality a bit though
Does this have Chatmix or can someone recommend me one that has this feature or something like it? Earbuds only.

hey is this a good mic for cod on ps5 im not a headphone guy
does these earbuds support spatial audio/ 3d sound?
Hmm I’m really not sure
do you need a splitter for this? headset?
What would you recommend? Jbl quantum 50, logitech g333 or these steel series?
I would for sure say the Quantum 50’s!
@@BaxTechYT jbl quantum 50 good for PC gaming?
@@mohdradzi3679 Oh yes, very good!
@@BaxTechYT and also good for ps5??? Im searching something to chat on a group chat
It doesn't say that it has noise-canceling included.
It doesn't have active noise cancelation, but any headset can have passive noise cancelation, meaning the materials used aid in blocking out sound
@@BaxTechYT Thank you for the information you've provided. You have a very high-end quality setup.
Anyone know what the button is for?
Will this work on ps5?
How are these the best when you ranked them the worst in a different video?
Which vid
can you use these for pc?
You can! You’ll most likely need a splitter or sound card unless you’re on a laptop!

Iems, you can get the moon drop aria or even the salnotes 7hz zero

Oh yes, if your iPad is lightning then that will work just fine!
Can i use this for work? Or any recommendations for taking calls, more like telemarketing?
You could for sure use them for work! Just be aware that the sound you hear will have some pretty heavy bass
@@BaxTechYT thank you.
I have their top of the line arctis nova pro and I use these more, much better for long sessions on the computer than a headset.
steelseries has a application on pc for the some quality modification im pretty sure
0:50 did he really just grunt removing a 1 Oz earbud from the package?
Hi

Did you get an answer or ….?
