Your Mother Hen edit got me thinking: The scions are basically one giant, dysfunctional family. * Y'shtola is the sassy middle-aged mom who knows everything and struts like she owns it too * Thancred is the mid-life crisis dad who's not quite ready to admit he's as old as he is and still goes around doing stupid crap like he's 14 * Urianger is the weird uncle that everyone kinda forgot about until he shows up and starts talking with his "Thees" and "Thous" * Alphinaud and Alisaie are your twin younger siblings that just bicker and fight with each other all the time * G'raha Tia is the newly adopted kid who's just happy to have a family to hang out with * Estinien is the brooding older brother who refuses to acknowledge he's part of the family until it's "cool" to do so. * Then Tataru is like your good family friend who makes sure you all don't get into too much trouble ;)

To be fair. Elezen teens/children have basically no sexual dimorphism. I mean look at them. Were it not for the lips you basically can't tell the difference between Alisae and Alphinaud.
Elezen apparently have rather strange growth spurt compared to other races. It takes longer to kick in but when it does the increase in height and muscle is very rapid.
@@NebulonRanger To be fair, that could be written off as Alphinaud learning a new trade. Rapier isn't a good one. I'd honestly point more to the clothing style than anything. Despite having a semi-feminine build due to his lankiness, Alphinaud still wears clothes that are clearly masculine. Alisaie's are more feminine.
