the freedom in the studio is because they're always the songwriters of their songs, they make lyrics and toplines. on top of that bang chan contributes to the instrumental tracks. sometimes he makes the tracks by himself too

The Korean culure around men is different from the West.
When they say "you're cute" they mean it exactly as is. They're very affectionate with their words and their actions. Stray Kids are a very touchy group in general 😂 they love each other, and depend on each other a lot and it shows through their actions. A lot of times it looks really sus and a lot of the time they really do just love teasing each other. You should react to the compulation "its definitly Stray Kids, not Straight Kids" 😂

So not sure if anyone has let you know this already but most of the time they're the producers themselves, although they sometimes work with others on certain songs. It's usually always Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han (known as 3racha together) producing and are credited for everything they do, but all the members have produced on different songs so they're all credited it just varies by song.
That's good that they get to run the show, it's better for the creative mind with no restraint.

13:16 No when they call each other cute, they really are just calling them cute. It's just normal to say stuff like that between males or whoever really. Korea has a hierarchy system (like a lot of Countries/Cultures) and you'll often hear people who are "sunbaes" (seniors) call their "hoobaes" (juniors) cute. Especially if they're younger, (I.N's nickname being 'Agi ppang' (baby bread) and him being the maknae (youngest) for example.) They might also be called "dongsaeng" (younger sibling) if they're really close.
Skz in particular have been together since 2017 so they themselves are extremely close and will have pet names for each other. They'll call each other cute, baby, honey, etc... another thing that's common between friends there is 'skinship' it just means being clingy/touchy. It can be holding hands, sitting on each others laps, hugging, giving cheek kisses, or just being touchy. It's not weird at all, it's just a different culture and it's only between super close friends.

@@delaviaspry Trying to word this that is not stereo typing but with Asian culture they love cute things. Doing aegyo, plushies and flowers is all something they love. I’m pretty sure LeeKnow and Felix still sleep with stuffed animals (plushies ). They all love getting flowers. It can get construed differently with westerners than over there . Basically it’s a lot of masculinity over here and over there it’s considered cute to let your baby gurl come out. I like it, kinda makes me want to squish them. But I’ve also seen Bang Chan dead lift like 352 lbs They have grown up together with Chan being dad of the group and they call LeeKnow the mom. So they are super comfortable with each other because of living together
24:06 just fyi, changbin's crack voice there has become famous among idols 🤣few of them even imitate him, its kinda funny, knowing that kind of thing was commonplace for people like them. actually changbin often got trending for just random stuffs he does lol

Yeah 3Racha has creative control over the music. Bangchan, Han and Changbin make up 3Racha and they are the producing group within the group, they get credited as 3Racha. They also work with other producers within JYP sometimes.
That's a lot of work, it's like 4 things at the same time lol where do they have the time for this lol
I have no idea but Chan was a trainee at JYP since he was like 13 I think and didn't debut until he was 19 or 20 so he's lived this his whole life so I'm sure it's like breathing too him at this point. He's actually said something like that during a chans room episode.
The exhaustion thing, it's even worse when you have to push for your high notes. Like they're within Han's range just fine but he has to shove a lot of power behind it. It's not only exhausting but if you do it too much, you can make yourself sick. Artists that do this for their jobs go through A LOT.

Yeah, the whole men touching each other's butts thing is something that's heavily prevalent in korean culture between men. They ARE their own producers & writers ! Chan, Binnie & Han are 3racha , in charge of all that! Also Korean men are very into Skinship, they aren't afraid of touching, hugging, or even kissing each other! No toxic masculinity going on with them! They are family and love each other very much! SKZ are also so chaotic & adorable

They have like help ofc but that help doesn’t tell them what to do they tell the help what to do ya know?? And then there is like 1 other guy who sometimes helps produce but it’s almost never!!! It’s mainly just 3Racha which is bangchan, Han and changbin And sometimes other members will help too if they had a helping hand in writing the song

In my research into Korean culture is that relationships between young men is vastly different from Western culture and it is normal for young men to be cuddle bugs with each other. Grabbing each other’s butts is a part of the bonding for them. Although many Stays think Lee Know as a butt fetish.😊

Okay, my brain is still in its mental fog, so I’m going to recommend watching Kid in a room or 2 Kids in a room. The shows gives fans a great understanding of their relationship and dynamic that makes you realize they are truly brothers. That means taking any opportunity to embarrass your brother. It is really enduring listening to them tell each other what their relationship means to them. I think western culture has put a negative stigma on boys and men that promotes emotional expression as a weakness and that isn’t healthy. Enjoy your day.

Apparently its a Korean thing with grabbing each other's buts or slapping them. I saw a few Korean reactors who said they do this with their friends all the time. I guess its a culture thing. I honestly had no idea, and now its kind of normal to me.

I recommend watching their performance in the Kingdom show in 2021, where they competed with 5 groups. There were only live performances. There are 9 or 10 episodes in total. But this video contains all the performances of SKZ in this show.

@delaviaspry lol, it's Minho (Lee Know) and Jisung (Han) Min+Sung. They have a really close bond and a lot, and I mean A LOT of sus moments. They call each other soul mates, go on dates and classify them as such, there call each other boyfriend/husband etc. They also released a song last year that's called "want so bad" and I'll just say if they are an open secret they really want stays to know 🤣. Either way they have a beautiful bond and I'll wish them all the best whatever their relationship is, I just brought them up cause of "sus".
