@@e.mdecors_official I went up to the driving centre through motability. The driving centre took me in the adapted car for a drive and showed me how everything works. They then took me to a quiet area and asked me to try the adaptation. I drove around for about half an hour. It took a little getting used to but I felt I was confident with it. I then was asked to take familiarisation lessons where I had to go back to the driving centre for practice. (Although I didn’t take lessons because I felt comfortable driving the first time and as my car was already ordered with the Adaptation, I just practised a bit more when I got my car through Motability. The only issue I had was DVLA, because I didn’t take the familiarisation lessons, requested I take a driving test. It was very nerve racking. It would be advisable to take the familiarisation lessons which Motability pay you for anyway, I think they give you up to 6 lessons. They then give you an assessment once I feel you are ready, and if they are happy with your driving, they will pass you and you can have the Adaptation. I hope this information helps 😊

It’s so easy and natural. You will love driving once you get the hang of it.

I wish I could drive but I’m scared to use the knob because I’m right handed and will have to use my left hand to control the wheel 😢
Glad to see how everything is going for you. Keep it up!
Thank you so much
Nice 👍🏻

Lee Barber thank you. I used my phone for all my videos. Wish I had a GoPro though but this works just as well.
