This story also takes place "During" the Yakuza 7 playthrough so familiar faces will show up congregating the interaction of the former main character ichiban kasuga from yakuza 7, showing kiryu's POV what led to him showing up, meeting ichiban, and helping the omi alliance in a last ditch effort
