The battery indicator fluctuations are due to increased current draw. If you are climbing any kind of hill your motorsvwill demand more power from the battery even if you maintain the same speed. That will be reflected with the battery indicator on your remote in that you will lose bars temporarily until you crest the hill. Then your power drain will return to normal and the number of bars you had before will comeback-unless it was drained from say 80% to 73% while climbing that long and/or steep hill, then you will lose a bar.
