I think one reasons the Russian are having a hard time is because they can't differentiate between their own commercial and military aviation and Ukrainian drones. In the Ukraine there is no commercial aviation. Everything has been grounded. In the Ukraine, whatever is in the sky is either Ukrainian military aviation or incoming Russian aircraft, drones and cruise missiles.
No, it is just because they are incompetent due to corruption and bad training, and they are enslaved to the pootin regime, the vertical power is strong.
If this does not teach countries that globalisation doesn’t work, nothing will! If you can’t produce what you need in a time of war or severe restrictions (such as weather storms, flooding) then you can not easily survive and your infrastructure will suffer. You need microchips for any aircraft, accurate weapons, systems to run power stations etc. you need to be able to at least stand alone for a while. Letting your steel industry, car industry, oil/gas/water/electric be taken over by foreign firms in total is not a good idea.
Globalization is so complex you can't discredit it in one line. Globalization is the idea that the more we merge democracies, economies and social things the less likely we will go to war. This is true. Since WWII Europe stopped invading each other for the first time in the history of ever. Usually democracies don't go to war with other democracies and it's less likely when their economies are tied together. Akin to "don't bite the hand that feeds you".
Long live Ukraine.
Russia's biggest mistake:
Invading Ukraine
Russia's destiny:
Losing the war
Closer to frontlines means the Russian air defense is easier to eliminate.
