👍 A gifted craftsman does an age-appropriate REPAIR job, that gives the machine some good more years for food-purposes. Not like the typical "restorations" on U-tube (clean a bit and give a lick of paint)
Marvelous restoration job you did restoring the dough mixer. I like how you repaired the motor by rewinding new copper wire into it and you repaired the broken parts of the aluminum motor caps. It looks much better with the new paint and it works like a charm too. Excellent work.
Does anyone else notice that when he is bolting the motor back together and screwing the fan fastener tight that he is turning all the bolts/screws the opposite way round as if he's undoing them ! - Only explanation is left hand threads ?? ! or the Twilight Zone ! - Fantastic restoration !

That would not work well, you are mixing dough, and you want to add the ingredient, and have it blend in quickly . I would only stop the mixer to scrape the sides...
