IKA MHD solid-liquid mixer

The IKA MHD high-performance mixing system mixes, homogenises and disperses. As the IKA MHD is designed for proportional mixing of solids into liquids in a single pass, it is ideal for use in continuous processes. The key components of the mixing system are the mixer and disperser from IKA. The solid and liquid phases are added to the mixing chamber through separate feed lines and the product is continuously discharged at the lowest point of the unit. This unit, patented by IKA, comprises a feed auger that keeps the solid and liquid phases separate, pre-mixing vanes and a rotor-stator system in the dispersion stage.
