@@hola-gy8te Yeah, I considered that too. But I think beakons are more similar to teleporters than sprinklers are to sentries. Plus, with both beakons and cooler, you’d make for a pretty cool support role

All that is needed to have an Inkling/Octo Engineer is a new special weapon - the Splat Sentry or Ink Turret:
* Health: 400 HP
* Range: 170 DU, or distance units (between those of Squiffer and Rapid Blaster Pro)
* Damage: 30 HP per shot
* Fire rate: 6 frames between shots (equal to that of Splattershot)
* Ink capacity: 200% of regular ink tank
* Explodes in team ink once ink capacity reaches 0%
+ Automatically aims and fires at visible opponents within range
+ Punishes overextending opponents
+ Can be refilled by hitting it with own ink (shots, bombs, etc.)
- Vulnerable to Object Shredder (+ 25% bonus damage)
- Can take damage from both direct hit and splash damage simultaneously
- Takes extra damage from bombs and certain special weapons (Triple Inkstrike)
- Ink reserves drained by Toxic Mist
- Cannot fire when covered in an opponent's Toxic Mist
- Cannot detect opponents within or behind opponent's Toxic Mist
- Can be directly targeted with Tenta Missiles
- Explodes in opponents' ink if destroyed by opponents
