Deborah Dunn I am actually happy for Carol’s Daughter. Lisa have been developing a running the company for at least a couple of decades. It’s about time that she was able to see a real payback for all her hard work.
Deborah Dunn they’re not owned by L’Oréal. They became a subsidiary company so their product distribution would get to store shelves and international customer quicker
I noticed that Carol's daughter worked better on my hair when it was relaxed. And I also used the black vanilla line. I kind of lost interest after she sold to L'oreal.
You may hear a slight ticking sound in the beginning of the video. I have to fix my mic ❤️ hope you like the video. Comment below your thoughts on Carols Daughter products!
I love Carol's Daughter Products! My fav is the Almond Milk Leave-In Condish. It is my holy grail because it has a watery consistency that works great with my hair type. Thicker products usually sit on top of my hair shaft.
The Coco creme butter works awesome for my hair. I also enjoy their rhassoul clay mask. Everything else I find is just ok. Your hair looks great by the way😊
Back in the day..all the youtubers used Carols daughter!! I have noticed recently, I don’t see many RUclips’s using them!! Great video!! Your hair is beautiful!! 😍😍
Really I never even knew they were poppin. I never liked any of their products but I'm definitely thinking about trying this specific line. Everyone that has tried it seems to like it
...i was just thinking a few days ago how I have not seen your videos lately... Then this pops up... I happen to be going to buy some Carol's Daughter's hair milk... This video has me buying more.. I am at Target now!... Carol's Daughter's products are actually really big here in Atlanta maybe because they launched the company here... I love their products...
I LOVE their rhassoul clay line!!! I purchased the shampoo from Ross for 5 bucks and fell in love. I got the shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner for $30 on sale at Sally’s online!! My hair also hated the black vanilla line. Even though it did smell really bomb. Bought the pracaxi twisting custard on discount at Ross again. Not good at defining but was truly moisturizing.
It looks good, your hair looks very full/thick. I buy/bought the black vanilla line for my daughter who is relaxed and it makes her hair shinny, for myself I've used the Monoi regular and deep conditioner for breakage and I still use mimosa hair honey.💜
I LOVEEEEEEEEE that Collection it smells like Black Girl Magic✨✨✨✨ it’s bomb for me and my Daughters Hair and lets not talk about how Bomb 💣 the Mask and Hair Butter is😩😩♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I tried this line (black vanilla) a few years ago and I was disappointed. It wasn't moisturizing at all. I never finished the products. I will have to give them another try.
I used CD products back in the late 1990s when mail-order was the only way to get them. Their products were way better than what you can buy at the store! As a lifelong natural, my options are pretty limited on the ground. I do like the Coco Creme collection, and the old-school Mimosa Hair Honey these days.
I use the Almond Milk line. I use the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask. The conditioner I use to detangle my hair. I buy the set as presents and then everyone that I've given it to loves them.
I enjoy the mask !!! It really added much needed moisture to my hair. And I love the SMELL!! I have not tried the other products from this line but I have tried their black vanilla shampoo and I don’t care for it but this mask is great and I am currently trying to find the shampoo. I wish the lady never sold the company because L’Oréal is making way more than what they paid her.
Yess the black vanilla was horrible that's why I haven't tried anything else. Altho I did try a deep conditioner because it was on sale and it worked amazingly. But I'm too scared to try anything else and waste my money😕
I just bought this set. They had the slightly smaller bottles in a gift set for $15 so I thought I’d give it a try. Haven’t used it yet but now I’m excited.
The brand worked better for my hair when I was relaxed. I tried the Black Vanilla once on my natural hair and it made my hair hard as brick. It was just so drying. I considered trying something else from them but found out they were no longer black owned, and left it alone. However, Im tempted to try this line. But as always, your hair looks amazing. I havent seen you mess your hair up yet, lol.
I remember years ago, when I first started watching natural hair content on RUclips, that Carol's Daughter was a highly sought out brand. I tried many of their different products, and I could not use them, because many of her products have Wheat Protein. My hair is extremely sensitive to Wheat Protein, however, my hair can handle other types of protein. Since so many of her products had that ingredient, I stopped wasting my money on the expensive products. This line that you reviewed I believe is Wheat Protein free, and now that their brand has been purchased by a conglomerate corporation. Since then, they have become more mainstream and have made efforts to interest the natural hair community.
I tried the black vanilla leave-in travel size and couldn’t even finish that lol I wouldn’t have even tried the Coco creme line but they gave away full size products at Essence. They were much better for me but wouldn’t repurchase
I’ve been natural my whole life but I got bad heat damage and I was new to doing my hair on my own. Carols daughter was one of the first brands I used because my aunt used it and my mom bought me the bougiest line they had (the monoi one that’s like $30 per product) from QVC to strengthen my hair
Aaliyah Shabazz that one is nice (my roommate used to have it) but I’ve never seen it in store. It’s the only thing I’ve ever been in aw about from them. The cost was high but good.
Salia, how you doin?? Your hair is even more beautiful than when you started your channel. I was wondering how have you been taking care of your bleached ends? Do you touch-up ? How often do you use protein treatments??
I LOVE your hair, I’m definitely going to give the shampoo and conditioner and deep conditioner a try! I’ve used the styling cream before and I liked it!
Your hair looks bomb😍 that vanilla line was doo doo trash!!! I hated it and the almond line wasn’t as bad but it was good either...it was more like something you would use if you did wash n gos every day where you would cowash with the conditioner mask, one day of moisture was all you was getting out of that line lol. I’ll try this with the three strand twist and see how it comes out cause three strand twist are my crypto night lol
Loooove did the moisture butter from this line, it gave me 6 days for the twist out I did. I definitely have to try out the rest of the line. I may try this for a wash n go too with wetline ❤️😍🥰
I had the same experience with the Black Vanilla so I stayed away from Carol's Daughter. The Sacred Tiare line was good for a nice protein/moisture balance but I can never find the deep conditioner anymore. I'll have to give this one a try. Thanks for the review.
Yess I tried this line a couple years ago extremely moisturizing ❗️❗️❤️❤️❤️ I never got a chance to try the mask and cream so this was 👍🏾👍🏾👌🏾👌🏾🤩🤩❗️❗️ the results were your best in my opinion so big and bouncy ❗️❗️❤️
Carol's Daughter is a very solid brand overall, but there are pluses and minuses to the brand, as there are for everyone other brand. On the plus side, Carol's Daughter has such a wide range of products and lines, most likely everyone will be able to find something to fit their needs. They have some great "specialty" products for protective styles, damaged hair etc. The Mimosa Hair Honey Shine Pomade is a great product for those who want a heavier sealant but don't want something that contains petroleum or mineral oil. And it smells divine! If you sign up to be an insider, you can have access to their frequent sales and promotions. They often have flash sales for 40-50% off. I've never spent full price for a Carol's Daughter product. And quite a few of their products are available in travel/sample sizes, both on their website and is some retail stores. On the minus side; if you're really ingredient conscious and prefer products with all natural ingredients, then you're out of luck. This brand definitely believes in better living through chemistry. They don't use harmful ingredients per se, but the ingredient list for many of their products can make your head spin. If you're opposed to silicones, read each label carefully to avoid picking up something with silicones in it. I use quite a few Carol's Daughter products, but it's not my go to brand.
Carol's daughter hair milk butter-made my hair dry, flaky, eyes burn; the black vanilla hair smoothie did the same thing also. Terrible hair mask even with trying to add an oil to it as it suggests. The black vanilla hair oil for me is just a really good hair fragrance only. I left CD alone 2 years ago.
They’re products used to be good. However I think with bulk manufacturing and them being bought out by a conglomerate that focusing more on white women with curly hair. I think back in the day like 2008 when I got hip to them in NYC I was swearing by them however I feel like them and other brands that have white conglomerates backing them are only focusing on is for the money
Honestly I don’t like their products whatsoever I used them twice and both times it was super drying and made my hair brittle when I first started my natural hair journey and then 3 years ago! My hair just doesn’t rock with their products 😬
I'm not a fan of Carol's Daughter; it does nothing for me, but it does work for some people, not all. She, the founder, has been advertising heavily on QVC or HSN and the Caucasian ppl love it.
Carols daughter is NOT for this 4b sista.. Nope.. I'm talking TUMBLE WEEDS HUNTY.. I don't even look at that product honestly I know CANTU has ALWAYS been good to me
As always your hair came out the bomb, Carols Daughter is no longer black owned L'oreal owns Carols Daughter now
Wow, really?! That sucks. .
Deborah Dunn I am actually happy for Carol’s Daughter. Lisa have been developing a running the company for at least a couple of decades. It’s about time that she was able to see a real payback for all her hard work.
Wow, did not know that... that would explain why the formulation has changed. 🤔
Deborah Dunn they’re not owned by L’Oréal. They became a subsidiary company so their product distribution would get to store shelves and international customer quicker
Aji Eberhart Thanks for clearing that up ❤️
I noticed that Carol's daughter worked better on my hair when it was relaxed. And I also used the black vanilla line. I kind of lost interest after she sold to L'oreal.
You may hear a slight ticking sound in the beginning of the video. I have to fix my mic ❤️ hope you like the video. Comment below your thoughts on Carols Daughter products!
I love the coco cream butter. I used it for a wash and go and twisout and my hair was moisturized all week.
I love Carol's Daughter Products! My fav is the Almond Milk Leave-In Condish. It is my holy grail because it has a watery consistency that works great with my hair type. Thicker products usually sit on top of my hair shaft.
Been RAVING about the coco creme butter on my channel lately. Love that stuff, especially with the lotta body mousse
The Coco creme butter works awesome for my hair. I also enjoy their rhassoul clay mask. Everything else I find is just ok.
Your hair looks great by the way😊
Also their monoi mask and almond milk mask are pretty good.
Your hair is always so gorgeous!!
Thanks ❤️
right, it has that beautiful shine in this video!
Back in the day..all the youtubers used Carols daughter!! I have noticed recently, I don’t see many RUclips’s using them!! Great video!! Your hair is beautiful!! 😍😍
Yeah I think it’s because they sold to L’Oréal
I didn’t know this 🤔🤔
I really like this Three Strand Twist Out! It is so defined and fluffy! TFS!
I thought carols daughter was like the biggest natural hair brand next to Shea moisture? I didn’t know they fell off that hard
Precious B yeah once L’Oréal bought the company it went down
Really I never even knew they were poppin. I never liked any of their products but I'm definitely thinking about trying this specific line. Everyone that has tried it seems to like it
Precious B I don’t use either of them.
I have this line of products and I love it so much! It’s super hydrating and my curls always come out super defined! Thanks for sharing!
...i was just thinking a few days ago how I have not seen your videos lately... Then this pops up... I happen to be going to buy some Carol's Daughter's hair milk... This video has me buying more.. Your volume is EVERYTHING🥴🥰
Shanel Miller right!? ❤️ ❤️

May Coleman didn’t that vanilla line smell so bomb for it to be soooooo bad💀💀💀
May Coleman I love the rhassoul clay line too. 👍🏾👌🏾

The particular brand you're using now, is awesome . My hair loves it.
Hair is just Flawless 😍
I love carols daughter !!!
I LOVEEEEEEEEE that Collection it smells like Black Girl Magic✨✨✨✨ it’s bomb for me and my Daughters Hair and lets not talk about how Bomb 💣 the Mask and Hair Butter is😩😩♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I bought this product and it is amazing. Thanks for the review.

Your hair is absolutely beautiful and flourishing ❤️
I have never tried their products before.
Beautiful result!😄

Kyla Fuller I think they still sell it at Ulta. I used to stock up on the deep conditioner during Ulta’s gorgeous hair event

I have the Mimosa! I love it! Its smells soooo good!
I have the clay shampoo and mask and the almond milk conditioner and I love it going to buy more products
💕soo pretty
I agree Carol's Daughter did not work for me. I was kind of sad about it😞
My hair does not like Carols Daughter’s products. I liked the Black Vanilla edge control. The products dried my hair out.
Carols Daughters was too light weight for my hair. I wanted to like it so bad.
Destinee Janae try the coco cream line !!! It’s very heavy and works great on my dry hair
My hair hates Carols Daughter products! Thank God for the Mane Choice!!
I use to use the monoi line
Beautiful
❤️❤️❤️
The only thing I liked about the Black Vanilla collection is the hair sheen. It smells good, and it works. But that collection was horrible.
Waooo so pretty😍😍😍😍
Great video👍
Do u still have depop
No. Im on poshmark now. Depop shipping prices were getting high. My closet name on poshmark is: goddessshazel I have some items on there
They’re products used to be good. However I think with bulk manufacturing and them being bought out by a conglomerate that focusing more on white women with curly hair. GODDESSS GANG 🔔💖🔔💖🔔💖🔔💖🔔💖🔔💖
Honestly I don’t like their products whatsoever I used them twice and both times it was super drying and made my hair brittle when I first started my natural hair journey and then 3 years ago! My hair just doesn’t rock with their products 😬
I could never bring myself to buy, too expensive...

Its too damn expensive!!
You can get a pc set at target for $15 right now. Also their site has been having a nice sale lately.
Go to Walmart it’s cheaper there
I don't like carols daughter. It doesn't work for my hair
Carols daughter is NOT for this 4b sista.. Nope.. I'm talking TUMBLE WEEDS HUNTY.. I don't even look at that product honestly I know CANTU has ALWAYS been good to me
I do not like Carol‘s daughter. It is so drying. I hear they are better but I just can’t waste my coins
Gorgeous!!
❤️❤️❤️
