Huge Thumbs Up for the The Jerk ukulele song at the end! Go Rob! 👍👍👍👍👍
Does he know "I'm Picking Out a Thermos For You, Not an Ordinary Thermos For You..."? LOL
Yesssss we were wondering if anyone would catch that! And, he does sing that. Frequently 😅
Fabric Shopping in the Fabric District
DEFINITELY 😍
Welcome back home! I would like to see some of the fabric and garmet district!
Thanks for the tour! Your place is lovely and fits you both so well. The bathroom is awesome - Rob did such a great job! Thanks for sharing.
A visit to NYC thrift or consignment shops would be fun. Great digs you have!
New York it's nothing like it. Glad you made it safely.
I don't really remember many of my stuffed animals, but I had two imaginary friends that moved with us from AZ to OH to KY. Baby Tiger was brave and adventurous and loved making up new adventures in the woods and Dodo Bird was quieter and I used to read to him. I had a really active imagination.
Yay... you’re back in NYC! Love it! I can’t go to the theatre anymore, because nobody, but nobody, can eat popcorn with their mouth closed... and it’s just safer for them if I stay away!
I love your videos. You guys are so happy. I love your videos. I have learned a lot from your sewing videos. Thanks.
We LOVE IT!!! ALL of it GREAT DECOR MY FRIENDS🎉🎊
Love the brightness in your home.
I had a yellow bunny rabbit that I named "Yellow Fellow" - I was preschool age and in my rhyming phase. LOL
So fun as usual!! 😍😝😁
Pinky the elephant and the Flying Bunny who would beat us, when propelled by our big brother. No extra names for these two.
Love you apartment! Somehow I missed the sleeping room. Maybe it’s with all the boxes, downstairs. I must admit my fav part is the big window! Thanks for sharing!
Cozy and bright 🌞
Enjoy your new home!!
awe I love your apartment! I've always wanted to visit New York and go shopping I can't wait to see more videos!
Yea! Life is getting fuller and more open again! How lovely!
Super cute seeing Rob blush! Also, more dresses please :)
I love y’all’s videos, so fun!! Your apartment is cute. Y’all have a great day!!!
Love you guys! Welcome back and thank you.
Thankya 💗!
Glad you made it to NYC safe & sound! Very cool apartment, I'd love to peak into Marcys closet and more nooks and cranies of your place. And some of the fabulous shopping and sights of NYC! Happy 2021 finally
Your apartment is so colorful and cozy.
My cuddly toys all had one name, and they stayed that way. I still have Terry the little grey teddy bear (who cannot. keep. his. pants. on.)
Gorgeous place!
I love your matching office desks. So cool & vintage
I put those together myself 😁 we bought them completely disassembled!
Thanks for showing your NY apartment--loved it! More Rob playing the ukulele? and Marcy singing! You guys are so entertaining!
It’s amazing! Love the spiral stare case and what I suspect is a loft/mezzanine above the kitchen. Also, this really makes me want to visit New York again. Last time was 11 years ago already!
You two ROCK.🌟🌟
Gorgeous!
Love your apartment. So colorful! I don’t remember having stuffed animals. But I did have a Hopalong Cassidy bike with a rifle holster on the crossbar. This was in Brooklyn in the 1950s. Also wonderful dolls that my mother sewed for. That’s when I got my love of sewing... not to mention cowboys, ahem.
Personally, I'd like to see what a top your dining/kitchen area. (around the 10:24-10:27) it looks too cool to miss out on!
And, fabric shopping 🛍 along with neighborhood owned eateries would be fabulous!! ✌out!
Welcome back. Missed you heaps!
Thankya!!
Went to Wondee Siam on Wed when we were in town. Delicious. Thanks for the recommendation!
ah sweeeeet! We love those ladies!!
Beautiful apartment 🤩💕
I found one of Rob's movies on Prime last night. It's currently not available but I will watch it when it pops up.
Rob is from my near neck of the woods!
Thanks for sharing your home. It's beautiful! 1 NAME FOR SURE
Nice, you are back in NYC. Awesome tour. Hehe, I remember when Rob was working on the bathroom. Still looks good. I just watched a video of a renting apt tour (yes I like watching rental apt tours) and the place was almost like yours but you got the better kitchen. I hope all is well and I miss you two. - Trice
You two are amazing, God bless both of you🙏🤗💕🇪🇹
thank you, Zewditu!
You two are such a hoot love to watch you, you had me laughing I love your apartment it’s great the way you fix it up! 💖😍💓💓❤️
Thank you so much!!
So good to see you are home. Welcome home. My live kitty was named Fluffy.
💗thank you! I think Rob had a Fluffy growing up, too.
Hi, I am 8 years old and LOVE your sewing videos. I learned to sew last year.
I am so glad to hear that! Keep up the good work!
Marcy this was from my next door neighbor 8 year old Clara. She used my account to write you because she loves your blog but her mom won’t let her have an account of course. I have been teaching her and her sister since before the pandemic and they both love to sew
What a FANTASTIC video!!! Such a cute space, I'm loving how many separate areas you guys made in such a small apartment, and Rob, what an awesome bathroom! I think you should make him a speedo lol hahaha Gotta make him turn that wonderful red shade LOL. I can't wait to see some of NY, I have never been, the Hubby has a few times before we met, but I have only passed through the corner on a trip somewhere else, didn't see anything lol As for the stuffies, all mine had their own name and personalities, sorry but I'm with Rob on that one lol I hope you guys have a fabulous week!
New place looks really great.. can't wait to see the new stuff you create.
Kitchen looks great, I love to cook I get creative most of the time. I've made 7 different types of meatloaf.
When I was younger my stuffed animals only had 1 name. I had a dragon I named puff the magic dragon 🐉.
I would love to see everything about New York. 👍
The very first blog post of yours that I read, began with an all caps “request” for Rob to finish the bathroom!! I am delighted to finally see it!!😍❤️
HAHAHAAA I wondered if anyone would recognize the situation! I really do love the bathroom. It honestly took FOREVER.
I remember that too!
You guys are adorable, I'm enjoying your videos. I'm a New Yorker but I live in LA. I've noticed people looking at their phones all during the previews which bugs me b/c I love the previews; but you're right, soon as the movie comes on, off it goes. P.S. Yesterday I made your first 3D mask, glad you cleared up the right sides together issue in this new video b/c I totally messed that up. Appreciate your helpful hints about the fold line too. Thanks! :-)
¡Qué bonito!
You guys are so adorable and you put a smile on my face every time I see you on your you tube channel. Marcy I love your dress and your Rob shorts amazing !!!! see you again on your Channel XXX
🤗🤗🤗thank you!!!
Thank you to for showing us your cool apartment, I moved away to Florida after getting married and giving birth to my first child. Although, I grew up in the Bronx, and visit my sister once a year-I still love to roam through Manhattan's neighborhoods when I visit. Enjoy NY!
It’s nice to roam these streets after being away. Absence and all!
I'm sure everyone tells u guys this..but this is my first time seeing your channel...and u guys are freaking hilarious and adorable!!!! Love your connection and your hilarious personalities!!!! Cute apt too!!! U guys clearly know how to have a blast together!!! Ur going to have a total blast if u ever decide to have--or even foster --kids!!!! U guys need some pets btw!!! A cat and a dog!!!❤❤🐾🐩😻
I would enjoy a tour of your neighborhood in a vid. What grocery store do you visit? Where do you park your car? That kinda stuff.
How lovely you both are💖
💗thankya!
I love your workspace but I hope Marcy does more makes and showcases them in the parks. A glance at the NY garment district would be nice too🧐
Can do!!
all my toys had 1 name only, none had vests, sadly. Loving the apartment. Would love a video in thrift/consignment shop treasure hunting! Maybe find a vest to glam up...matching vests could be a new trend!
Rob’s Shorts!!!! Okay, I’m done 😂
That blush is awesome! Love how much space you have there, space to spread out! You identified the spiral stairs going down, but there are some cute little shelves-what-look-like-stairs on the right of the kitchen! Wassat? I didn't really name my stuffed animals, they were identified by character: bear, mogwai, rabbit, etc. Probably because I grew up on a ranch and we had a lot of real animals, so most of my play time was spent with things that mooed and meowed and clucked and cooed and... and.. and... ;)
we call those our "art installation" 😅
funny thing, I played with a live hamster this weekend, named hammy, owned by a kiddo who plays with live chickens Maybe your naming theory is truth!
@@thehandmadeharriells I thought they might be stairs to a loft! LOL. "course it is!
Nice place 🙂💕🌻
thank you. It's nice to have our things again 💗
Very cool. Where on earth did you find those desks? They are awesome and would be ideal in my tiny house, in the corner I have for an office.
That's a really cute apartment! All my toys had one name, never to be changed. But I think I was on the spectrum
Most people called their toys by one name and didn’t change it. It’s perfectly normal! 🙂
Welcome back to New York! One of my favorite places to go to the movies is in Philly. It's a participatory sport. One movie I laughed more with/at the guy a row away than at the movie. Definitely not reverent, but not looking at the phone either.
Hahaha! Now that I don’t mind, when said sport is enjoyed by all and the movie isn’t, say, (wracks brain for name of sad movie and can’t come up with one)…..
Oh my goodness I love your place! I've missed that blushing, he makes my day. As far as the stuffed animal names, of course I did have separate names for them. Our autistic son names his as well, but more along the lines of that which defines what they are. A stuffed duck named "Ducky", a bear named "Teddy" and to this day I have a little elephant whose name is "Ellie". He's pretty worn out from all the several years of lovin'! Let's just say that my age is 29.95 + shipping and handling........ mostly shipping and handling. 😆
Welcome home. That is a lovely (and large, by the standards) NY apartment. And I love when the bed loft is above the kitchen. My only question is where the heck do you store your fabric stash...
Bonus psychological answer - My dolls had one name and one filled out personality. For a little while I tried naming Mrs. Bear the most beautiful names I could invent. But I could never remember them. So she stayed Missus B.
- Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown
Love the apartment! Thanks for showing us around. Out in the world, I would like to see the fabric and trim shops in the Garment District. Re: stuffed animals: mine all had one name, but I can see how a creative person, an actor even, might have animals that play different "roles" and thus have different names. Peace
Ah that’s an interesting theory on Sam/George! I buy it.
And, speaking of buying, we had a similar request earlier that I jumped on (buy fabric? Twist my arm.) A quick shopping trip should be up today and more of those coming!
It's good to see yous guys back at your home in Hells Kitchen. I sure would like to see how the old hood has changed.
I would love to see a NYC sewing supplies shopping expedition, bargain edition.
Bargains are my JAM
Love your apartment. I dont think I could get used to living in a big city, it's very different.
Really beautiful like you 2♥️♥️♥️ Sam🥰🥰🥰 they had 1 name and personalities galore
No joke... you can make a video of you commenting on how paint dries and I would be entertained. So thank you. 🥰🙏
😁😁😁we might have to get into some painting soon….much to Rob’s dismay….
I love you apartment! You may need to take over Rob’s side of the office when it’s time to see! The library is a cool little nook, but the staircase needs a door over it. Lol, my number one fear is falling! The conservatory may be my favourite room! What I love the most is the history and vibe of the room!
Sheesh! Autocorrect! Your! See!
😁😁autocorrect is the devil!
We’ve thought about a door over that stairwell, but that was when we had kittehs that we wanted to keep sequestered 🤣
And ps, I do indeed take over his desk when he’s away 😁
I'd like to see anything that's about day to day real life in NYC. All I know is the really touristy stuff, or what appears on movies/TV. I'm in the UK and have never visited.
Lovely light apartment. Do you both stand up to work, since your desks are quite tall? If you do, I'm impressed, it's so much healthier than sitting all day (as I do in my office). They say all day sitting is the new smoking in terms of health.
Cute place...so reminds me of the apartment in "Good-bye Girl"
Need some stockings hanging from the shower curtains... LoL
My sister named all her stuff animals, Fred. All of them!
I had many stuffed animals, but the main one was a yellow pig my mom crocheted for me when I was 3 or 4. He was Piggy, Sir Pigs, Mr. Piggles, The Pig. He was eaten by a dog when I was 31. I'm still heartbroken, 20 years later. RIP, King of Piggies
The King of Piggies deserves multiple names! The dog’s name was Mud, I assume.
You could roast marshmallows on that blush!
Lovely your. But where in the world do you store the sewing equipment and other sewing ‘stuff’? Thank you for sharing your space. ❤️
Oof. Everywhere. There’s a little rolling shelf for fabric, a mini closet, and let’s not get into under the bed 😬
Would love to see the fabric stores.
Got a little taste coming today!
I had no clue where y'all lived, before this, but never would have guessed New York or California... New Orleans, LA would have probably been my guess, on feel alone.
You two are so cute!
You guys are beautiful!🤗🌹
I'm in love with you guys 💙❤
🥰🥰well thankya!
Love it! As usual :) But where do you sleep? And whats downstairs? And how is the entrance, and do you have storage place? And outside? Any balcony or tiny back garden, and how is the building? I've never been to America and therefore never to New York, so I have NO idea how you live there. Thanks for the tour! (And I hope you fix the sound next time, hard to listen to you in this video). Love from Norway!
Oh my gosh lemme see if I can get all these 😅!
1. Keeping some mystery
2. More mystery
3. The entrance would give away a little too much location (see: mystery)
4. Yes we do have storage space, I ought to show you our closet!
5. No balcony or garden, a postage stamp of space would be SO wonderful
6. The building is a 1917 brownstone, so, no amenities but lots of charm
7. Sometimes I have no idea how we live here either 🙃
Ok, now I have a question for you-we’re trying out new mics, and I’m not happy with them. But I’d love to know what audio issues you had so I can try to figure out next steps (too soft/loud/scratchy….or whatever!) Love from nY ❤️
@@thehandmadeharriells Can't believe you actually answered all my questions! Great! I get the mystery part, though :D
So. The audio. It sounds very distanced and scratchy, and like you talk in a square. Hm. Not sure how to describe it, but it was very disturbing to listen to, because normally you have a very pleasant voice. Maybe if you place the mics differently? I am no sound engineer, but I am over average interested in the human voice.
Such a cool pad, guys! Loved it... I also believe it is a law of nature that you must shoot nerf balls at the camera...
I love your apartment. I was wondering where you would be living in New York since I told you that this is my home. I had no idea you would be living in Hell’s Kitchen. I live near. (Chelsea). You are going to love the Highline. Enjoy your beautiful new home.
Hi. Just flove you guys. Where did you find your Bernina sewing machine in NYC?
It was a gift! But, I know there’s a shop in town near the garment district. I think it’s called City Stitcher 💗
Big smile. Have a good summer, good luck with another you both do. Outside please, music would be great.
Birdy
Two things I’ve been missing! On the list 💗
you two are killing me in the wc 😂😂😂😂
That’s usually how it goes in there 🤣🤣🤣
He looks like Jean Luc Picard. I realized it for certain when I saw his profile.
I wanna see everything! And I only had one name for my teddies
I still have my teddy bear, who’s called Honey. He’s not looking great, but I still love him. I’m 57yrs old, and he’s 2 yrs younger than me! 🥰
Such a cute name for a bear! I’ve got a beat up bear that looks brand new to me 😊
My dolls had names (BamBam and Pebbles) and the animals were themselves. I guess because I heard a lot of Winnie the Pooh and most of the animals were called by who they were: Kanga, Roo, Owl, and Rabbit.
I love reading all these names in the comments. Singular and multiple! It’s like we’re all playing with our toys together.
Not my stuffed animals. Now all my dogs I've ever had I gave them 2 names. Daisy (Daisy Mae), Maggie (Mag Pie) and Mitzi (Mitzi Pitzi).
Great to see both of you again. Nice apartment tour, BTW is there a charge for the tour? I do think you may want to hop on the subway to get to your office; seems mighty far to walk......LOL
No more mask-making Whoohoo!
maybe I should use my rollerblades to get to the office. Exercise, and all 😂
@@thehandmadeharriells 🤣🤣 great idea, perfect for exercise ...LOL
Mr. Blushing, in the park, with a ukulele.
YESSSSS 🤣🤣🤣
You’re so fortunate to have windows that don’t look out on a wall.
Terrific. What will you do with the floor beneath? Will you show? Certainly as cool as your upper floor. Love from Germany
We might keep a li’l mystery 😉
@@thehandmadeharriells 😂👍👏 and some privacy I suppose
Stuffed animals have one name and one backstory.
If you have a favorite bakery or cookie shop, please visit and share!
Oooo I DO, and it’s right near the garment district!
You guys are too funny.
😁😁😁we make ourselves laugh for sure 🙃
Love your apartment. You don’t have AC?
We do, but with an open plan, it creates little more than a wisp of a breeze 😅
Bedroom? Is that the loft up the steps?
