Part 9 of my documentary, "Mucky Secrets", about the fascinating marine life of the Lembeh Strait.
This week's episode looks at dragonets; a family of benthic fish that live on the seabed. It culminates with footage of the spectacular mandarinfish emerging from the coral to mate at dusk.

Amazing, beautiful and fascinating. How could ANYBODY possibly capture these and put them into their aquarium? Surely the captured fish would die from depression and lack of proper diet. Also, notice the small slug on the right at 1:33. He's zooming by!!

I can't wait for production to be finished! It looks like it'll be even better than the Adaman.

Just different because it's nearly all small/weird stuff. Plus, this was shot over 29 dives in 9 days. Reef Life of the Andaman was from something like 1000 dives over 5 years

Bubble Vision I see. The Andaman was my favorite, but I think this new one will replace it. :)
I'm especially fascinated by the fish that are able to walk. I know in the Andaman doc, you guys showed a few frog fish, but I wanted to see more. So I'm glad you guys went a bit more in-depth when it comes to the frog fish.
      When will this be finished/released?

Glad you like it :) There are 10 more weekly episodes left (11-20) and then not long after that I will upload the whole 90-minute documentary to RUclips. There will probably be a DVD later in the year, and possibly a Blu-ray if I can find anyone to manufacture and distribute it.
