Another idea for the “picture book” keep any little tickets or pamphlets from places you go and you can stick those in there with the photos too! I’ve kept travel journals and regular journals for years now and it’s my fav way to document trips! 😊
For everyone who like the booklet idea: There is a company that sells books like these and different inserts. The are called " Traveller's notebooks" by "Midori". There is an entire community around it. 😊
Love this I did the same thing for two years and then switched to sketching daily instead of taking photos. It is so lovely to look back on! A real treasure❤
Wonderful journals! I love the little booklet idea. Where did you get the booklets from? In response to your question: I have been journaling for about 5 years and I find that it helps to not put pressure on yourself and just do anything in your journal whether it be writing or drawing or gluing in souvenirs. You seem to have a good system for this with having the bigger journal just for yourself. And the smaller journal to be more share-able. I would recommend a small glue stick which I always find helpful :)
I am a creativity coach and journaling facilitator. I have a bunch of products/guides on the matter and I would love to gift you one. If you are interested to try dive even deeper with your journaling experience 🙏🏻🩷
Would love to hear more! I currently don't have a permanent address as I'm traveling but send me and email and I'll get in touch once I'm settled again :)
