My Trading Plan for 2018. Going over the three strategies I will be using and practicing in the stock market this year.
Do you trade full time? or are you still working as an engineer
trying too get to that point. I'll be making a video over this but my entire goal for my life is passive income so I can travel the world indefinitely and wake up every day doing what I want. I worked in manufacturing since i was 15 years old, 12 years of my life and I only ever got 2 weeks of vacation. Check out my video "Industrial Green Sand Molding", that's where i worked. I was pretty miserable with my life and decided to change it. So i quit in Jan of 2017 to try and make it on my own as a freelance manufacturing engineer and youtuber (Been doing RUclips for 10 years now). That Idea totally failed and I was broke by Sept of 2017. So i decided to teach myself finance, money and the stock market. Make my first video over the stock market and it exploded.
So now I'm here, I've got multiple small stream of income that allow me to not have a day job but nothing secure enough to achieve my goal. Right now i do some engineering stuff on the side, youtube pays me, I'm studying to become and NASM certified personal trainer and studying and practicing in the stock market as much as i possible can. these videos are more of a documentation of my progress rather than trying to pretend I'm and expert.

I have watched all of your trading videos and have been looking forward to finding out how you have been doing / strategies you are applying etc. I'm about 8 months behind you on my trading journey. I'm starting the warrior pro course soon (bought and froze the account when it was on offer). It was a real struggle finding the right course - reading between the advertising / bullshit / weird fake bad press. I know the warrior pro course is expensive, but providing reviews on any course / platform would be a real help and greatly appreciated. As an asside you're actually the reason I looked up warrior trading in the first place. I've spent the last year spending any free time researching, watching you tube vids, reading up etc. Cheers for the links in your vids. They are really useful. Good luck again and please do keep it up.

finally i find someone talking about this assian guy, i watched all forex adam khoo free videos, that guy talk super clear, and with clear and concise terms.
On his free videos there are some gold nuggets, about the reality of how you have to apply the basics of technical analysis while trade forex, because forex is like a different jungle with his own animals on the trading world :D

Love the videos, please keep making them, as someone who is also starting to learn everything about stocks, it's nice to see someone else's progress that is also starting out versus all the pro videos out there. I also want financial freedom to be able to travel and focus on design/art work on my spare time. May I ask how you went about developing your trading strategies, step by step process? Would you be able to make a video detailing how you developed it? Even though I've been steadily learning about day trading on a daily basis, it still seems so overwhelming with the amount of details and info and I still feel completely lost as to how to develop a strategy or a few different ones to see which one works best. Thanks again and congrats on your success so far!!
I've been trading for a long time and the advice is spot!
You can also scalp options or trade options on the long term if you don't have a margin account, robinhood lets you trade options without a minimum which a lot of options brokers don't let you do. They are risky but you do get to automatically assign risk from the start and when you get good at options, you can program "zones of profits" where you can profit on stock going up, down, or sideways ( feature is not on robinhood though).

Anyway I am following along and studying along the way although it's a struggle. Right now it's hard to study more than an hour a night because so many concepts I do not know about or understand. I imagine the more I learn the easier it will be extend my learning curve time. Keep up the good work.

Haha cool to see you keep trading. I acually started to trade when i first saw your video "learning to trade in a week" or something similar. Only difference is that i trade forex. One tip i can give you and everyone else trading, maybe you metioned it(didnt watch whole video) but either way. Instead of adapting trading to your live, adapt your life to trading, do everything possible to boost your preformance. It might sound silly, but having a plan for prepairing to trade is just as important as the trading, since psychology is 80% it really makes sense. Meditation, cold showers, anything to boost energy and focus, but aviod alot of sugar because of it altering you mind, you do not want to be in a bearish or bullish state, you want to be in a neutral state.
I’ve gone through Ricky’s course and like you said it is very straightforward which is great for beginners like myself and will probably best fit my schedule. I also liked the content from Eat Sleep Profit and Bullish Bears. I appreciate your videos they are informative and inspiring.
Really enjoyed watching this, Garen. Your determination is evident and I truly believe it'll lead you to success. One of your first day trading vids led me to Warrior Trading. Ross's gap-and-go and high of day momo strategies are awesome once you get it down. He's very informative and encouraging in explaining. The strategies work for me because I like to be in and out of positions as quickly as possible. Wish you nothing but the best of luck man!

Another great video! I would be lying if I said your previous videos didn't help me when I was still scouring for information on the internet. Kudos! Just one thing, I believe you know a lot now in trading but I'm just curious why, or at least that's what I think, you haven't considered shorting. I started longing stocks on my trades but I really found high probability plays when I studied shorting.
It's uncanny how close we are as far as when I started getting serious about trading about six months ago. I know and have either studied or entered many of the people you named courses. After constantly winning and then losing , basically staying even with a 5000 dollar test account trading small penny srocks, I decided on slowing down a bit and concentrate more on swing trades for a moment but still keep follow ing the penny stocks that have violent moves. I have become really good at making equityfeed filters for penny stocks and don't want to forget how to use it cause although extremely risky, it is unreal how much you can make in a day with volital low floats. I used the trade ideas scanner for a month also and found it to be highly versatile with a slightly higher learning curve but because it lacks the news feed and takes a bit more time to set up compared to equityfeed I let it go for now

What book, video, or website would you recommend for total noobs who don’t know anything about the stock market or the terminologies that are used?
I went through WT course. Awesome course. I highly recommend it for developing intraday strategies, it’s Momentum, highly profitable just from 930-11a EST each morning, unless you want to focus on intraday shorting...then Average Joe Trader.

Somethings to eventually write in your future videos people who are looking for scraping content coming to their own conclusion, consider breaking your video details in the description box a time period table. Eg: 5min - 8 min : Showing Basic Setups
27:10 - 27:50 I had always wondered about the concept that indicators (fib levels etc) almost become a self fulfilling prophecy in that if everyone is trading of that same level then the market will react at that point. That's the first time I've ever heard someone explain it. Subbed.

Nice channel. You and I have a lot in common, although I haven't quit my job yet. But I'm an engineer (mechanical/automation/robotics) and have been trying to make it as a day trader since 2015. I trade NQ futures, scalping 20 ticks from 1 to 10 times per day, depending on how much the market is moving. I also sell SPX credit spreads for income. You get a lot of views on your videos! My channel is way smaller but I try to get a video out every day.

Rodrigo Hercules as someone that did pretty much that. I'd highly recommend you have at least two income streams become quitting your job or reduce your live expenses to below $400 a month. Not having a steady paycheck can be very dangerous.

Btw how did your friends feel about Eat.Sleep.Profit? Was it more of a beginners course or where there advanced day trading strategies?
Can I ask which platform you are using for paper trading? so far the Think or Swim platform I've tried seems impossible to learn and grasp for me starting out. Sure trader which was much less complicated only gave me a 7 day free trial.
Paper trading and trading sims are sketch because they drop unrealistic fills on you.... in reality a broker may not be able to find you shares to short, or will get you stuck in slippage.. You are lucky to have access to ToS, it can provide you everything you need. Put the work in to understand every aspect of the platform. It is a pain starting out, but the skills you develop will actually be put to use and pay off. You are only a handful of YT videos away from getting better....

I have seen all your videos. I just love the way you get to the point so clearly like so few on RUclips do. I find it inspiring. Currently I am going through courses on Udemy by Frank Bunn (Also known as Trading Ninja). Yes you do have to pay for his courses, but it is very well priced and worth every penny where at most you will pay $100 for the first course and $10 for each of the following seven other courses. If you are a nuts & bolts kinda guy like me who is looking for clockwork approach to taming the chaos of the stock market, he comes closest to teaching you how to do that.
Good video! My only critique is that you are explaining the adx wrong. The ADX rising doesn't mean its an uptrend, it only means there is a strong trend, it could also be bearish. That's where the di+ and di- come in handy, they tell you if the trend is likely to go up or down.
Respect my man, I also started trading late last year... though i haven’t been as dedicated and quick to pick it up as yourself, your an inspiration to all.

Garon have you used trading view do they have scanners etc as mentioned in your video learning trading in a week I'm looking to use bitmex exchange as offer higher leverages for crypto and robinhood for asset trades would be keen to hear your own thoughts on this!

Hey Garen! First of all let me congratulate you on your videos and wish you all the luck on your trading journey.
Just started mine a few weeks ago and have been kinda going through the same path (tons and tons of hours watching videos and trying to absorb as much info as possible). I've noticed you focus a lot on Ricky and I wonder whether you've came across Ross from Warrior Trading (well I know you mentioned it on this video although very briefly, so you have came across him). I´ve been following him closely (closer than Ricky or Connor for instance) and I wanted to see if you found him helpful. Also, do you have any thoughts on "trade-ideas" scanner software?
