NASCAR 07 was my first NASCAR game and is my favorite of the later EA games. NASCAR 09 had an awesome soundtrack and I had it on PS2 when it came out and I had fun with it. I like that they tried something different with the career mode than other games, just started to go back and play it.
The actual car models themselves in PS2 version of NASCAR 2001 are probably my favorite NASCAR car models visually on the PS2. The game looks even more fantastic upscaled on an emulator and is the easiest NASCAR game to emulate of that console generation. I had this game as a kid (came from when Film Fest had a sale of old games and movies) and at one point I had a 2 inch crack in the disc and my PS2 still played it.

Half the time I ran at Sonoma in NASCAR 09, I’d get airborne in turn 2 all by myself. Terrible.

nr 2003 is free now and its great overall its dated but there are great crashes lmao its super fun
