The cutthroat slam is awesome. We went after it when they first introduced it. But the yellowstone eludes us to this day haha. I think next year though we are going to do a video on getting it all in one day. I think we can do it!
@@MtnRanks Ha, that's certainly true. In my local water I just snagged up a huge white sucker fish. If I had had also caught a pikeminnow with my rainbow, it could have been a nice little triple lol.
I know exactly where this is. I have fished it 4x and have completed the slam twice. I always fish a lower section though. Great fish where you were! Makes me want to go back! What time of year was this? Flow seems higher.
I want to say it was late June flows were up for sure. The plan was to fish lower but there were a few peeps with a guide there. We wanted to give them some space.
@@MtnRanks Dang guides! Weird thing is……in 4x fishing there we have never seen another fisherman, including weekends. Love it! I am glad you didn’t fish lower, because now I know I can fish the upper part too. Great video by the way!
Excellent guys! Althought i couldn't help but notice all the dead (wood) trees. Vote out the tree huggers and rid the beetle forever. I have out photos of Fish Lake compared to today. So sad
When Utah introduced the cutthroat slam I laughed and laughed and laughed considering most people at strawberry can’t even tell the difference between cutthroat and rainbow
I had a similar idea recently, y’all definitely made me have a bigger desire to do this!
Lots of fun trying. It would be sweet to get it done in the same river.
Nice Brown.
Living in Utah right now! Hoping to complete the Cutthroat Slam :)

MtnRanks all in one day?! I bet that’s never been done before... good luck.
@@KutthroatOutdoors UDWR and KSL Outdoors have done it, twice.
Nice job fellas, I'm not sure if there are any rivers around me where I could attempt something like this :D
Thanks Eric, fun day for sure. There are a lot of different types of slams, you may be able to get creative and come up with your own challenge.

Yeah, crazy the beetles have done their work out there for sure.
What part of Utah are u in? Could be southern or up near Provo. That’s my guess
Southern Slope of Uintas.

I definitely need to do this.
