7:49 so true. I mean some research articles are even behind a pay wall (so hard to do citations) and this is free out there in the open!

Yeah journal paywalls are a bummer. Get in touch if you ever need a copy of any of my articles.

Hey Dr Matt! Saw a short clip of you talking about overtraining. My brother has probably seriously overtrained and has been sick for years. Do you have a video where you talk about what you did to get out of it? Also, what kind of symptoms did you have? You mentioned that your performance got worse so you pushed on harder. But did you have any specific symptoms like throat pain, headaches, tiredness, general malaise? Thanks for your time

Ah bummer! I was generally tired, and felt exhausted once I started exercising or going hard. Try this podcast episode for some of the story open.spotify.com/episode/6Oqe8gPgfEVrMRPoEbc44A?si=Gi994ON7RPuzUq7I6tA4jA&

I see that you can control your riders pedaling with power meter , but how about the effort in pumping and jumping. I think we don't have something to measure that besides a HRM.

Totally. And HR lags behind the effort, plus we can't know "how hard" they are pumping.

Do you have a price bracket for these? I'd sign up to the VIP club if i knew i'd actually be able to afford it when they are available. $100-$300, $300-600, $600-$1000, $1000+?

Great point. BrakeAce will be competitive with Motion Instruments, power meters, etc. so around $1000 for 2x brake power meters
