    Fantastic video, LOVED IT. To the point, quick, informative, and very clear.
    I am an old existing Elementor pro user for several years now, but seems they have now fallen off the wagon, as they more interested in "cash grabs for features" than actual features their clients want, and as a result I have been looking at Bricks as an alternative. I decided that I will get bricks as it seems to be as good as Elementor, but after watching your video I can see that Bricks is by far much more powerful than Elementor, and the cherry on top is that the resulting website is also much faster than Elementor built websites.
    Thanks for getting me, not just content about switching to Bricks, but actually very exited to get my Bricks builder and start using it to build my clients websites 😉😘

    Great overview. Thanks. It seems that if you already know how to use flex box with CSS it'll be pretty easy. Maybe I missed it, but did you touch upon how to use flex for mobile view? Like, how do you set flex wrap etc.?

    • @GrantAmbrose
      @GrantAmbrose  Год назад +1

      It’s how you’d imagine it to work. Change to the mobile break point and then in Bricks there is a setting for flex-wrap that will only apply for that breakpoint

    Oh my, the information is very good and mostly current. Great job. Although I do a lot of things differently in Bricks, you still have information that is really helpful and useful.
    I am also grateful I can stop the video for a couple reasons. One is I can stop and freakin breathe :P You edit so tightly that it's like you never take a breath and for the viewer, we need to breathe a little :P Secondly, because you are going so freakin fast (not necessarily a bad thing because you packing so much input into a short time frame - 2 hrs is short? :P), I can go back and catch things I surely missed due to the pace.
    MAYBE you might consider doing more videos but short clips that cover smaller "chunks" of information. Lots of benefits I could see doing it that way.
    Please continue the great work. Cheers.

    • @satanishangover
      @satanishangover 2 года назад +2

      @@GrantAmbrose An option you can try, successful with many RUclipsrs, is to give a large chunk like this. Then, according to the structure of the tutorial, subdivide it in smaller chunks. So let's say this one you'd release a smaller chunk just for headings (maybe adding a small intro and outro relevant to the section, but the main content reusing the portion already published in the main master video). This way you'd capture both type of users while devoting little time in video editing of the smaller chunks.

      For me the UX/UI is much better, I can handle the theme features like Header or Footer builder without looking at the docs, it's really user friendly and timesaving.
      Also, there is a becustom, white-label like plugin which can replace all theme related logo, urls and even slugs. For a creative company its a pro feature.

    great video! had a play for an hour or so the other day it's great builder for sure despite being still in its infancy, creating templates confused me at first though i was expecting a box to popup asking me what type of template to create etc... maybe they could update that and create them in a more visual way like you can with elementor...

    • @GrantAmbrose
      @GrantAmbrose  2 года назад

      yeah you should see a popup where you specify if its an Archive / Single / Section. What I found weird yesterday is that I can set my template type to Archive but under conditions I can apply it to search results and Blog post and it works. So im not too sure how strict this template type section is - more to test... :)
