This isn't a demo from Psycho Circus album. If you listen, some of the lyrics in the first verse are from the song "Hell Or High Water" off of the Crazy Nights album in '87. And later in the second verse, there are lyrics from the song "Paralyzed" off of the Revenge album in '92.
It is a psycho circus demo because they were included in the Gene Simmons demos, although I don't know if this is the original version or the version that was included in The Vault
@@Dus20I'm the same person, anyway, I also have a version of rain keeps fallin' in my possession, I would send it but RUclips would recognize that as spam
Yes...this Should have been on psycho circus. Being a KISS fan since the 70s whoever decided the songs to put on Circus PICKED the wrong ones! This one and Ace s bonus track on the japan release SHOULD ve replaced the sucky songs
Phil Holmes Fairbairn. And Bruce Fairbairn helmed the biggest 80’s and 90’s albums from Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, AC/DC, INXS, Cranberries, Scorpions, Van Halen and others.
Bruce Fairbairn decided, for the most part. He wanted to make sure Gene and Paul had an equal number of lead vocal tracks on the album, plus that each fit the 'theme', Out of all the demos that did not make it, I think It's My Life should have made it.
@@opaque4742 I agree that Its My Life should have made the record. this song-no chance. does not fit the theme of Kiss in 1998. just another throwaway track
You mean when he "sings" in a less gritty voice than the "bat-demon" growl he employs most of the time. I agree. He could do so much more diverse stuff (like this!). He's got a much better voice than people give him credit for. It took me a second to realize it was him!
@@chrispragnell9684 -- No, he's GREAT as the Demon - he built his career out of it - but he has so much more range that he never uses because he gets too much attention as the demon.
Shawn kross is singing this .had T.o. jokers nocturnal indulgence. Which was great but never compared to seeing them live twice at Bellevilles Doctors Hotel.Shawn graciously allowed me to play his acoustic during set up because i was wanting to see exactly how he played a riff he says here show me what you're doing .i did was close but he showed me his way .was an awesome interaction.

Yeah. I didn't pick that up either.
Just the Here I am all alone. But that's not enough to call that.

no chance. this song was not good enough to be on the album. plus, which songs would have been removed to make room for this song? can you name one?
Yes. I'll name two. Raise Your Glasses and I finally found my way. Both Cheese.!
Should have been on a Kiss Album. I never under some of the tunes they cut
Another great out-take could have done a double album.
Excelente tema. Mucho mejor que varios de Psycho Circus.
whoever decided the tracks for Psycho Circus really screwed the pooch!!!!!
@William Curry yep, also played drums on most of it
SplitVelvet2012 uh Kevin played drums on it

Gene is so much better when he sings... very underrated.

totally agree. He's shit when trying to be "the demon" but deffo a very good songwriter

Very catchy chorus...love it!
Cool base and guitar! ☺️

This is actually a pretty good song.I have it on CD from where I bought season 1 of Family Jewels on DVD.
+garageguy879 that's a different version. I like this one better, it has Ace & Kevin Valentine.
+ShockMe1994 me too more great riff from Kiss
@@ShockMe1994 ace isn’t on it.
@@thefonzkiss yes he is.
Damn! Freakin good..
Promise her the moon ver. 1?
Man, that's awesome, thanks for posting.
What can I say best of the best love u guys my heart to u all
wow never heard this one I like it
esse som e bom !
such a better band if their demos are taken into account- no producers i say
Diehard since 75. This track is killer
The verse is really similar to one of Gene's song called "Promise of the Moon"

I need the full lyrics of this music
Better than any song on Psycho Circus.
Great song and with Ace & Peter except hired guns this coulda been classic
Should have been on Crazy Nights or Hot in the Shade. This could have been a hit!!!!!
Si good!!!!!
Is this in the vault?
is not bad, but.... Is Kiss or Duran Duran? This song is very pop of the 80,s.
Alexandros Tsipras this is from 1998
@@ShockMe1994 I like your account picture
This song might have sounded better if Paul sang it or at least sang the chorus.
Paul can't sing even though he's on backing vocals
Why this one wasnt in Psycho Circus?
Does Peter play drums on this track? It’s sounds like his drums on “Into the Void”? Please answer. Also what Psycho Circus Demos does Peter Play on?
All Kevin Valentine except Into The Void.

Good song but not heavy enough for psycho circus
Yeah all those heavy tunes like We Are One, I Finally Found My Way and Journey of 1,000 Years …
The intro ended up on Ace's new album....
este tema no quedaba para el album la verdad, quedaria mas para sonic boom o monster o hasta revenge
Who's the one singing?
Gene
@@adamrenfrowI really love your Under Armour hat
Gene Simmons literally sounds like a teenager
This song didn't deserve to appear on a KISS album. "Trial by fire" neither lol
Stick it , Putz‼️
Why ...i think this one is good song
