Siler City, the town where Mayberry's 'Aunt Bee' lived out her retirement

Actress Frances Bavier retired to Siler City after the series ended and became friends with a man in town whose daughter has written a book about that special friendship. Today, people leave pickles on Aunt Bee's gravestone in Siler City in honor of a particularly favorite episode from the show.

Well,I hate to say it.A long time ago,I smoked a little weed.I also was a route salesman for Sunbeam Bakeries.I asked one of My retailers where did She live?Well,I pulled the ugly orange route truck up into Aunt Beas driveway.,She wasn't long on passing,and I fired up a joint there.True Story.Another time Me and LeAnn burnt another Doogie in the drive under Crape Myrtles of Andy Griffith driveway in Manteo.True Story.Thought I'd share it with Yall
