The crows started offering him shiney objects they picked to exchange for some crumbs. So.....he started putting coins on the sidewalk near him and they would pick them up and " buy " crumbs. The bigger the coin, the bigger the bite they received. This went on for weeks during which time he decreased the number of coins and only giving food to those with money. The crows started looking for money elsewhere and bringing it with them every morning to buy some of his breakfast. He was training them and it worked beautifully. For three years until he purchased a car dozens of crows showed religiously every morning to buy breakfast from him. He joked, truthfully, that the crows paid his bus fare for three years. True story.

Love the magpies in the video too, lovely Australian birds and closely related to crows. I have a family living in the tree out the front of my house we feed them and in return they don’t attack us in the spring/nesting season.
I watched 2 crows work my old Siberian husky out of his dogfood. One would land 40 ft away from food and antagonize him to chase him while other swooped in for a meal, trading places to work him good. He figured it out after a couple of days
I feed the crows, rabbits and squirrels in my neighborhood. The crows leave me presents on my porch all the time. I kept finding coins on my porch and had no clue where they were coming from. Then I realized it was right by where I put their food.
I fed a group of crows daily on the rooftop of my apartment in Seattle. Eventually came up to find a small pile of shiny trash and objects in the spot where I feed them. A gift of thanks.

@@EdurtreG I already did in fact I read most of the comments here when I posted it
The way the first crow sways side by side like he's walking a runway or just really happy. You go crow!
Love the magpies in the video too, lovely Australian birds and closely related to crows. I have a family living in the tree out the front of my house we feed them and in return they don’t attack us in the spring/nesting season.
Australian wild life oh my god
I watched 2 crows work my old Siberian husky out of his dogfood. One would land 40 ft away from food and antagonize him to chase him while other swooped in for a meal, trading places to work him good. He figured it out after a couple of days
😂😂😂😂😂
*Crow when he literally drinks water
"He's extremely smart!"
*Me when I can't solve a complex algebraic expression
" *Why are you dumb* "
It's all relative. Crows may be smart for animals, but you compared to humans...
Cause ur dumber than the crow
"Crows can be a bit mischievous"
*Steals credit card and maxes it out*
You do realize that many of those “crows” you showed, are actually Ravens... right
Same thing
It's interesting, because mischieve is often correlated with intelligence.
Crows are smart birds!
Ron: *"Lemme Smash? Please...."*
That sassy walk is everything.😍
Noticing that walk shows sophistication in their personality!
“they can also solve problems better than other primates”
shows a magpie💀
That’s incredible! I didn’t know crows had object permanence! I love them even more now! Coolest birds ever!❤
There's a TED Talks on crows. It blew my mind.
Ravens... The uploader got confused
The beginning is so adorable ❤❤❤
I feed the crows, rabbits and squirrels in my neighborhood. The crows leave me presents on my porch all the time. I kept finding coins on my porch and had no clue where they were coming from. Then I realized it was right by where I put their food.
Had a crow visit me in my back yard. Sat on my shoulder for like an hour.
Amazing experience
Him: talking about how crows are smart
Crow: *literally pit-pockets guy*
is this supposed to be a pun or do you seriously think it's "pit-pocket"?
@@ermir_skg5696
No- I’m stating that the crow literally pit pocketed the guy, aka stealing something from someone else’s pocket.
@@Trix_starz it's... it's "pick-pocket".... not pit pocket. That's not a real thing
@@Trix_starz how long have you been saying "pit-pocket" 😂😂 poor soul
@@ermir_skg5696
I got confused okay? Not everyone can remember what you remember, no need to call me out on it.
That walk got me🤣🤣🤣they are so Adorable
Crows have functioning consciousness, not human intelligence.
They can also communicate the people that they remember.
Okay, I think I've found a new favourite animal-
That was such a cute walk in the beginning lol 💕
Talks about crows
Manages to show Australian magpie
I fed a group of crows daily on the rooftop of my apartment in Seattle. Eventually came up to find a small pile of shiny trash and objects in the spot where I feed them. A gift of thanks.
I remember I had to make a research about "animal intelligence" and both crows and dolphins are smart ay hell
not to mention their cuties 💗
They’re*
“They also like to pe-“😂
The first crow had me laughing so much 😂🤣 I know I’m not the only one who replayed that part more than once
Literally everyone in the last 10 years: "Did you know that crows are smart?"
No, no, *extremely* smart.
Love how you put Magpies in there
Being able to remember faces for years is better than I can do
